5.45 Wolverhampton

Anyone see this race, now I know that the rules were followed here as regards flags etc, but surely common sense should apply. My selection was pulled up in the confusion as were a number of others. I just feel that they should have voided the race( not talking through my pocket here as Bet365 treated it as a void race so I got my money back) Just wanted some thoughts??

Re: 5.45 Wolverhampton Trouble is nowadays its all about protocol and rules, common sense doesnt count for anything and people are too scared to take responsibility in case they are sued at a later date for not following the letter of the law exactly. Its obvious the race should have been flagged much sooner, before they got near the stricken horse, then this wouldnt have turned out into the farce it definitely was. Another bad day for racing, Wolver looked like a bunch of amatuers to me and how the 'winner' was allowed to keep the race is beyond belief in my opinion.
