Thursday: 15.10 Southwell When looking at a race on a Southwell card course form is very important to me and with the current top 2 in the market here having none i am happy to take them on. Monsieur Jamie has form figures of 112 at this track and all runs were over todays trip of 5 furlongs. Yes, it is a bit of a doubt about how he will do in a race stronger than any of his other outings but against some rivals who aren't proven on this surface he has the edge in the experience department. He made his first appearance in 2 months a few weeks ago and i think he was just put in that race because he needed the run. That run out was at Lingfield, over 6 furlongs and he weakened dramatically towards the finish. His pedigree is full of 2 year old and 3 year old 5 furlong winners so i have no doubts that this is what he needs. He has done ok in smaller fields and should be ok getting to the front at a decent pace. Je Suis Unrockstar is the other with course form but i am happy to side with Jenkins' horse and the more experienced jockey Greg Fairley. I think the price could shorten up a fair bit so i am happy to take it with a medium sized stake. 3pts win Monsieur Jamie to win - 3/1 with Bet365
