Kent State is my pick of the day . There is to much difference between these two teams it seems almost impossible to me for KS not to cover the spread. They won the first one by 17. BG are on a 5 games loosing streak and have lost they previous two home games by 13 and 35 to weaker teams than Kent State is. Kent State will have shooting advantage , rebounding advantage and are better under pressure. And they score more points on average. Usually when you have a good team in this kind of a situation like Pittsburgh is and they play against the weakest of teams they could possibly play a blowout happens. Pittsburgh definatly have the quality to win by 40+ if they want to. But they don't need to. All they need is to win this game by 15+ at least and get their confidence back for the final game of the regular season and for the tournament after that. South Florida can only give their best tonight but I'm afraid that won't be enough. Iowa State : Colorado ; Colorado -4.5 at 2.75 ; 10units ; bet365 ( Iowa state - Colorado ) points per game 75:79; FG% 44:47; 3FG% 37:37; rebounds per game 37:36; turnovers per game 13:12. Two reasons for this pick. Iowa State is rock bootom in the rankings. Colorado defeated Texas in their previous game. So Much better momentum and quality are on Colorado's side. Iowa State can show some good performance at home but I think Colorado are better and they need this win. Iowa State have just one win from their previous 11 games. Colorado won 3 of their previous 4. Oh , and Colorado also won against Iowa State at home by 26. Auburn : Mississippi ; Mississippi -11.5 at 2.75 ; 10units ; bet365 ( Auburn : Mississippi ) points per game 62:74; FG% 40:45; 3FG% 33:34; rebounds per game 34:36; turnovers per game 14:13. Mississippi won the first game by 31 two weeks ago. And Mississippi won against the second worst team in the league on road by 27. So a 20+ win for Mississippi is expected if they don't underperform. Quality is obviously with the Mississippi squad. Auburn's 40% from the field is one of the worst in the whole NCAA and the only way they can keep this game close is they have everything going their way for the whole 40 minutes , and that isn't very likely to happen. Northridge won the first match these two teams played earlier this season by 6. Davis lost 7 of their last 8 games and are rock bottom teams in the league. Northridge won two in a row and they need this one to secure a better position for the tournament. Northridge won recently on road at much better teams than Davis so there is not a single reason why they shouldn't win this match. Northridge should have an advantage in the paint and that combined with the motivation should be enough for much more that just a 2 point win for the visitors tonight. Washington State : USC ; USC -1.5 at 2.75 ; 10units ; bet365 ( Washington State : USC ) points per game 73:67; FG% 46:44; 3FG% 36:36; rebounds per game 35:34; turnovers per game 13:11. Both teams need this win to get to the tournament. But there are a couple of reasons why I think USC will get there in front of Washington State. USC won the first game between these teams by 5. They have much better momentum and results recently including the win against the league leaders. And they are actually playing good at the moment. Washington State are without two straight wins for over a month. And both teams played against the same opponents in their previous two games , Washington state lost both , USC won both. San Jose State : Hawaii ; Hawaii -1.5 at 2.75 ; 10units ; bet365 ( San Jose State : Hawaii ) points per game 74:69; FG% 41:45; 3FG% 36:36; rebounds per game 38:36; turnovers per game 12:16. Hawaii won the first game these two teams played at Hawaii by 6. Both teams are on a good run . San jose state won 6 of 8 and Hawaii won 8 of 10. But two reasons for this pick are. Hawaii won the first mutual meeting and if they win tonight they will increase their chances of getting the first round bye for the tournament. And this weak there were many surprising results because favourites didn't win the games. It was motivation that was a decisive factor and in this game it's Hawaii who has a lot more to go for.
