SweatyBetty
Re: Roulette When I was really really drunk on St Paddys day 2009 after about 15 pints of Guiness I developed a "stick everything on red" stratergy when I was down to my last £40 and I ended up leaving the casino with £500. I've only played it a few times since. But it is not a game you can beat, just one you can gamble with.
ojideagu
Re: Roulette There's a million and one strategies for Roullete - Just not winning ones. I'd say there ARE strategies that beat roulette but only if you do it once! The disaster that beats these "systems" is after extended play, for example martingale works until you hit 10 reds or 8 dozens or run out of money. Which can take about 1000 spins on average. You can make profit until that happens. But you can only do it once in your lifetime or you are doomed to fail when those 10 reds finally hit. If we are talking near infinite money, then Martingale does actually work mathmatically. Just not in the real world :D

Sawyer
Re: Roulette Actually, there's a way to win in roulette. You have to observe courpier closely and also have close relations with him. Some courpiers throw the ball to a particular zone for some reason. During one of my visits to cyprus, I saw 26 and neighbors were coming very often. I talked to courpier after the game and learnt that he's from Eskisehir. 26 is Eskisehir's code. :ok
ojideagu
Re: Roulette .... then it's just pure LUCK Wrong, Short term it is not LUCK, it is within the expected odds. If you only play roulette once in your life, Beating 10 blacks in a row after 50 spins is not luck as you are the favourite with a martingale system that can handle 10 losses. It would be unlucky if you lost, as the odds are around 1000-1. However If you continue to do it then you will eventually lose at some point as the game is unbeatable long term. If you have a large sample of people doing it, it will always have a negative expectation.

ojideagu
Re: Roulette its only luck if you're a regular roulette player. Yes. Craps has some bets that are approaching zero house edge Long term involving Odds bets. I also believe Video Poker called DEUCES WILD you can actually have an 0.77% edge over the house if you follow the system on wizard of odds. ojideagu
Re: Roulette You can have an edge in craps game too.. If you're a rythm roller ;) Yes! But I think some Casino's will ban you if they think you are doing it lol Same as timing devices for live roulette wheels they will beat you up if they find one. Although I've heard it's possible to do it to a degree by counting and tapping your foot as the ball spins.
