It needs soft ground and tomorrows forecast of good to soft, soft in places will be great for its chances, especially that by race-time it could well be soft ground by then and it has done all its winning on soft ground.. It think there are still big runs in Madison and the animal chances are just on this kind of track Newbury or Kempton. Denman is amazing horse, but the fact is that is going slowly down. Maybe at his best will be possible to beat such a strong field. My hopes are that none of the new chasers would improve so much to smack the old stars. Madison is 2 out of 2 with Tom Scudamore here at Newbury and the forth place here is with Paddy Merrigan. Pipe's stable had four winners here in the last 22 years! and three of them were with Scudamors on board.
