Re: Team Tartan Messageboard Well I've put some money in my Dream a/c today so it should now let me play! Didn't expect to get landed setting up a table tho! Off to have a go at it now. I've made a couple of amendments to my profile so I am now fully pledged to the Tartans. Can I just check whether we will all be wearing our kilts on Tuesday as our team strip and (talking of strip) will it be traditional under-garments.... or rather lack of? That should frighten em all.

Re: Problems with betfair I've had an email from Betfair today telling me I must deposit funds or they will suspend my account as inactive. I had only been playing the freerolls (and don't use the betting side) so hadn't bothered registering a card or putting money in yet. Anyway, no problem getting into the site to deposit money. It was also the Betfair site that wouldn't let both me and Runadrum play at the same table, presumably recognising we were playing off the same connection (although different computers). Made him sit out when he joined my table until one of us was moved. Don't suppose any of this helps Bruise!

I will volunteer for Scotland/Ireland if no-one else comes forward. :unsure My credentials are by marriage (Runadrum), worked for a Scottish company for 20+years, favourite actor is Scots, and I've been to Ireland once, so I have! Presume I can play on Dreampoker site but will need to deposit funds. Not enough posts to PM me yet but you can send details via Runadrum for me.ONE PERSON REQUIRED FOR SCOTLAND/IRELAND(Residency/Ancestry not a requirement!) erhem Yeh, and you then went all in 2nd hand and straight out, meanwhile I, by then ahead of you on chips, hung on for 18th. :nanaSo for me to continue AG would have had to disconnect (she had 1/3 of my chips !) but as I was already on the PNL tourney on Spin Poker there was little point. When half my stack had gone on the blinds AG was moved and I could play again ! -

And we girls know what to do with a wooden spoon, and it's not cooking. Can't get into the site at the moment to deposit some money as my 77c freeroll winnings isn't quite enough, but assuming the site's back up this aft I'll be there (or I guess none of us will be).

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to have a thread where we post a photo of ourselves? Then, when any of us are at a table together we can go look at the photo and it'll be like playing a live game! Too much of a newbie to dare start a thread myself in case 1. It's a stupid idea, or 2. There's already a thread on here 25 pages back that I haven't seen, and 3. Don't know how to put a photo on here anyway! (although I may know a man who can) Worth a go??

You had a good hand, but watching, I could just see she was going to push you all in. You were just unlucky she had a better one. You could have sat and waited and picked up £2.50 (at least) but where's the adrenalin rush there!!

Had a couple of lucky all ins to stay in that long but my luck didn't hold out with pocket 10s against 6's when a 6 came out on the flop. 37 still in now, Crazee in 31st - hang in there for the money this week (30 places) I've only played 3 different sites (with VC & SO) but I do quite like the Betfair one. Nice and easy to play, and you can keep track of your place easily too and the tables. I find that impossible on the SO site as it constantly updates and goes back to the top of the list. :wall

I have sent email invites via Dream poker to Kevshat and Pokerose to your messaging addresses shown on your profile. Lombardo and Milou do not have contact details showing, however I think Runadrum will be able to PM Lombardo for me. Milou, I think you are a newbie like me - do you want to post your email address on here for me, or is there another way?
