Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 Played: Canberra +11.5 $1.85 1u WC +23.5 $1.85 0.75u After a week off I think Canberra should make this a contest. WC have only lost two of their home games 24 or more and haven't been too bad in their last two games. Melbourne play Adelaide Sunday so may shouldn't really have their foot down.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 don't really have a feel for how todays game will play out but it seems unlikely to be too intense to me. even though back to backs tend to be unders I am having a unit on over 147.5 on the basis that the majority of Logans starters were poor and might put up some more points today. they only hit 4-12 FTs so even an improvement there would be enough alternatively Logan may drop their bundle so one unit Townsville -7.5 also.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 i was having a great season running around 20% return until last week and today where i have given the majority of it back, so you want to be opposing me at the moment. that said there were about 10 open 1 footers and layups missed today and about 30 fouls not called which didnt help the total. without hodges 18ppg i think adelaide will struggle to put up a decent score. i will play the under 1.5u

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 preview on WNBL site suggests they are starting at 9-0 where they left off. this sounds a little strange, but I have played Townsville -1.5 1Q for about 3 units just in case plus 3 units on Townsville -5.5 and 6.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 having beaten Dandenong, Melbourne and Canberra comfortably in the last three rounds you could have Sydney second n your power rankings despite being outside the top 4. Adelaide continually underwhelm, and it is tough to take -6.5 but NSW TAB have -4.5 which I had a couple of units on.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 tempted to take Bendigo on the idea that Melbourne are hot and cold with alot of difference between there performances while bendigo have been hot for months, but it is a pretty chunky number. like over alot as well, which probably means it will be 62-61.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 yes agree with Logan and also playing the under. canberra ran out of juice in the last quarter and unless the above miracle has rejuvenated them i see this being a slower pace. risking 2u on this even though logan usually sieve points.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 quite like Canberra, but tempted to play Bendigo. i thought Townsville were pretty terrible against Adelaide and still nearly stole it. Bendigo have won their last 6 by double digits and not sure Adelaide is the team to break that run.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 the adelaide slappers are averaging 24 fouls and over 26 FT against per game. canberra shot 40 FTs last night. even though adelaide only got their FG% above 30% with a couple of late baskets the game still went over. seems a strange total in their game today. have to agree with Sydney and over.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 i was somewhat relieved they lost as I had considered playing them ML @$7.50 and stayed away. gonna give WC another shot. better spot here with back to back for logan and getting a much healthier buffer than the canberra game. bendigo also.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 nice way to make friends with your new team mates, taking every shot and missing. i have no idea what is going on but like those bets too. thinking about playing townsville +13.5 also. dandenong have been easy to score against while melbourne have been super tough. short turnaround back to back makes it tough but 13.5 seems alot.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 Melbourne over 141 1u Sydney +4.5 1.5u Melbourne games have all been low scoring so far, but I believe Jarry which gives them some more firepower. Batkovic was terrible last game which seems unlikely to happen again. FG% was 35% and 34% last week so only a modest boost from hideous seems required. Not sure Sydney should be getting 4.5 even if Bendigo were playing as well as last year.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 Dandenong -7.5 1u Sydney over 161.5 2u $2.06 WC +3 $2 1u Total is coming down in the Sydney game which seems a bit strange to me unless someone or several players are out, as i would guess this to be the highest scoring matchup of any. Dandenong coach is talking defence which could be the reason but I would not take this too seriously. Thinking about playing adelaide also. My working thesis is that WC will be competitive this season and that the line in the Adelaide game is an over reaction to their loss to WC.

Re: WNBL Season 2013/14 i thought sydney's gameplan and defence were terrible. they tried to play at dandenong's pace and didn't bother defending. their new ring in looked decent though. adelaide game is tricky. adelaide couldn't stop poppens and magden last time, not sure they will this time either. but their season is on the line so they could put in a good performance. i like the over.
