  1. Game 11 preview: 4pts St Kitts Most 6s vs Guyana Evs Betfred That is St Kitts and Nevis to hit the most sixes. They blasted seven sixes on this ground against a top notch Jamaica bowling attack in their last match and that is good form. A repeat of that could be enough again because Guyana are likely to go in with Dilshan and Chanderpaul in their top three and neither of them are massively prolific in the six hitting department and by the time the six hitters come in for Guyana the horse may have already bolted. Full preview here: https://www.punterslounge.com/guyana-amazon-warriors-vs-st-kitts--nevis-patriots-betting-guyana-look-for-first-win-in-st-kitts Game 12 preview: 4pts Barbados Most 6s vs St Lucia 11/10 Bet365 Obviously there is improvement in St Lucia with the bat but if Barbados bowl like they can then I’m not sure even with their firepower that they can outhit Barbados if their whole batting line up fires. 2. Friday TV preview: 4pts Lancashire to beat Yorkshire 11/10 Coral With the dry spell we’ve had and a Championship game in the week I think spin is going to play a big part in this match and the Lancashire spin trio should have the upper hand on Maxwell and Middlebrook and that is enough to convince me to take Lancashire in this one. 4. 3rd place preview: 4pts Peru vs Paraguay - Over 3 goals 2.05 BetVictor Usually these sort of matches are always open with both sides looking to put on a show with little to play for and the way Peru play anyway I’m pretty confident that will be the case here too. The last two third placed playoffs have finished 3-1 and 4-1 and I’m expecting another high scoring match here. 5. Game 10 preview: 4pts Barbados Tridents to beat St Lucia Zouks Evs Boylesports I think the Tridents are the better all round side of these two and when you throw in the head to head record between the two as well then the Tridents are a confident pick here. I worry about the St Lucia batting if they lose a couple of early wickets whereas the Tridents bat a long way down and that can be the difference in this one. 6. Wednesday TV preview: 4pts Surrey to beat Gloucestershire 8/11 William Hill Surrey have been chopping and changing with players coming and going throughout the tournament but they have had a little bit of continuity this week and having thrashed Gloucestershire by an innings and plenty in the County Championship their confidence should be high enough to give them a 20 over beating too. 8. Game 9 preview: 4pts Jamaica Tallawahs vs St Kitts & Nevis Patriots - Over 14.5 sixes 10/11 Paddy Power I’m going with the sixes in this match. Both sides have a number of clean hitters of a cricket ball and on the first match on this ground I expect a really good wicket given the amount of cricket that is to be played here over the next week or so. 9. Couple of bets for me on Monday. 4pts F.O'Brien (+2.5 frames) to beat S.Bingham 4/5 Coral Fergal O'Brien is a tough nut to crack at the best of times but he could be even harder to crack here. This is Stuart Bingham's first official match since he won the world title and it will be interesting to see how he settles down to the added expectation that is on his shoulders. He likes a fluent game anyway but he's unlikely to get that here. Fergal has been up and running for the season for a while having had to qualify for this tournament and then playing in the World Cup so he'll be extra prepared for this. I'd still be surprised if Bingham didn't come through but I think it is a bit early in the season for Bingham to be covering these sorts of handicaps given the changes that will have without doubt taken place in his life since he won the world title and of course the extra demands on his time. 4pts J.Lisowski (+2.5 frames) to beat J.Trump 10/11 Paddy Power Jack Lisowski has actually won the last three meetings against his friend and former stablemate and you've got to think he has every chance of winning again. This is Trump's season debut and being the defending champion he will probably have had a bit of promotional work to do since he touched down in Australia. Lisowski had to come through a couple of qualifying matches which he did so without too much fuss so he would've been on the practice tables for a while. It was interesting that he is one of the six that Terry Griffiths is going to coach this season and when he was in demand by a lot more than those six players he must see something he likes in Lisowski and that is enough for me to think Lisowski has enough in him for three frames here given that it is Trump's first match of the year.

  11. Final preview: 4pts Portugal U21 to beat Sweden U21 17/20 Paddy Power Sweden will give this a good go. It is a final and in many ways they’ve nothing to lose now but Portugal have looked strong throughout this tournament and can get the win their efforts have merited in this final. 12. Outstanding call on Lancashire Kev the way you read between the lines of Durham's problem with spin and variable pace was excellent. I read the preview on the train home after it had started but still managed to get 5/4 when Durham were 4 wickets down. Well done sir!
Cheers CB. It is nice when a bit of extra delving into teams gets rewards :ok
  13. Semi final 1 preview: 4pts Chile vs Peru - Over 2.5 goals 7/5 Betfair Instead I’ll look to the goals market where over 2.5 goals looks a big price. These two have probably been the two most attacking sides in the competition and both have shown vulnerabilities in defence. Four of their last five meetings have gone over 2.5 goals and we could well be set for another one here. 14. Tournament preview: 1pt ew J.Higgins to win Australian Open 20/1 Coral (1/2 1-2) In years gone by Higgins probably wouldn’t have cared much for this tournament, in fact it is only the third time he has entered it, but he does so knowing he needs some ranking points and with some big names missing this is as good a chance as any to pick some cheap ones up. 4pts G.Greene to beat M.Holt 6/4 Stan James Gerard Greene played five days out in the World Cup and also came through qualifying for this tournament before that so he should be match sharp and at 6/4 he looks good value to take care of a Michael Holt who is playing his first match in almost three months. 15. Quarter final 3 preview: 4pts Argentina vs Colombia - Under 2 goals 1.97 BetVictor Colombia don’t really look like the side who made it through to the last eight in Brazil last year but they have looked solid enough at the back so I think we’re in for a tight, low scoring match here even though both will want to avoid the draw and penalties. 16. Friday TV preview: 5pts Birmingham Bears to beat Lancashire 8/11 Coral One thing in favour of Lancashire apart from their record in the fixture is Ashley Giles will know how the Bears work but Birmingham have been going along very nicely and now they have Brendon McCullum to give them that X-Factor so Iâ??m firmly with the champions here. 17. The latest renewal of the biggest series in cricket begins two weeks today and with New Zealand on the plane home and Australia touched down in England and beginning their tour on Thursday now looks like a good time to get the thread started. Five Tests will be played in what should be a belting series. Sky have all the action in the UK as ever. Schedule is here: http://www.espncricinfo.com/the-ashes-2015/content/series/743911.html?template=fixtures

  18. Game 5 preview: 4pts Barbados Tridents to beat T&T Red Steel 4/5 Ladbrokes I’m siding with the Tridents in this match. I didn’t think much to the Red Steel’s bowling effort in St Lucia and if they bowl that wayward to the power hitters in this Barbados side then their bowlers are likely to go the distance again.
