Leo takes the win in the final leg and with it becomes the September Champion just squeezing past Ian who takes the runner up spot.   A win, 3rd and 5th for Leo and Win, 3rd and 6th for Ian made it a close run comp even though numbers were low in the final leg.  Paul completes the podium with a win in leg 1 and a 3rd spot in the final leg and presumably a holiday in between. 
Thanks to all who played this month, whether 1 leg or all 4.  We are back for October tonight, just setting everything up now, apologies for lateness.

Well done to Billy44 who returned with a win in the PLO.   Ian made another podium to take the top of the league and is in a good position to hold on to it with no points to drop and a third score set to count in the final week.  But plenty of others with low scores to drop are in with a chance of the added money.
We return to NLHE for the last leg with a 5000 chip game at 8.10pm, usual 20mins added late reg.

Well done on the win Ian.   The top 2 in the league are our 2 weekly winners so far, but with PLO night tonight for leg 3 could everything change?  Game starts at 8.10pm with the usual 20 minutes added reg period.

Result from last night, nice to see some returning players in.  Top 3 bossed it with all the knock outs between them, well done to muttley on the win. 

Setting games up now, bear with me as I need to do my usual uninstall to get my access to the Home Games back.

The Punters Lounge £150 added Poker League restarts this week for September, running for the next 4 weeks on Wednesday nights.
The £150 added by PL is shared between the top 3 in the league at the end of the month. Games start at 8.10pm, with a 20min late registration period on top of this.  All games are played in the PokerStars Home Games PL Poker Club. 
The format is a NLHE 3000 chip tourney in Legs 1 & 2 and a 5000 chip NLHE for final leg.   Leg 3 is our PLO Leg with 5000 chips.

To help boost numbers overall and in particular in the final leg we are continuing the system of doubling the number of entries used in the calculation in leg 4 (**so if 10 entries the formula will use 20 entrants). This will increase the number of points available in the final leg to make it more competitive.
All members are welcome, however you must post in this thread if asked to let us know your forum username, otherwise your placings and scores cannot be included in the league.  New players are always welcome to join in, so please spread the word and invite your friends to the forum so we can keep the weekly numbers up.

League Table

 

Well done Paul who takes down the final leg   but not enough points to make an impact on the league podium.  However Kev and Barry in 2nd and 3rd leap up the table to finish dead level in equal second in the league.  Elliott despite an early exit had enough in the bag to hold onto the top spot and is this month's champion. For those worried that the league table doesn't appear to add up, it only shows the integer number but all the decimal places are there in the background.
We'll take a break on the spare Wednesday this week as it's holiday time and be back for September league
