Re: La Liga > October 20-22 Getafe v Levante. At 21/20 I like the "2nd half with more goals" bet. Getafe played 3 games at home , 2 first half goals. Levante 3 away . 2 first half goals. according to the stats here http://www.soccer-betbrain.com/soccer-halftime-wins Getafe have more goals in the 2nd half of games 68% in their last 22 home games. To me this is great value, and the stats suggest a good possibility. Neil.

Re: Ligue 1 > October 19-21 Lyon vs. Brest LYON to win this. Odds of 4/11 1.36 are not great , but it should be comfortable. BREST have been well beaten 4 times away from home this season. Expect it to become 5 !!!

Re: Bundesliga > October 19-21 Two matches that I like in the Bundesliga this weekend. Werder Bremen v Borussia Mönchengladbach Even money for 2nd half with more goals is terrific price. The 2nd half of Bremen games produces goals, and even money (bet365) is great value for a strong statistical probability. Borussia Dortmund v FC Schalke 04 For me this is a banker bet Dortmund to score first goal at 4/9 or 1.44 is a steal. Dortmund are just an unreal first half team Neil.

Re: Fulham v Villa > Oct 20 1.8 for the home win is a terrific price for an inform Fulham team. Fulham are playing excellent soccer, unlucky to lose to Man City. Villa are a terrible team, scoring 2 away and conceding 8 I'm not sure why people think this will be a tight game. Fulham games have been over 2.5 goals 9 of their last 10 games at home. bet365 gives 4/5 so maybe the better option is the Fulham win

Re: West Ham v Southampton > Oct 20 Hi there , Two assumptions : Saints can score goals but don't defend to well. If you wish to really gamble take the over 2.5 goals in match and Saints to win combination. The combination is 5-1 Neil.

Re: Portugal > Super Liga > 2012/13 Benfica v biera mar over 2.5 goals at odds of 1.53 is rock solid. These guys score for fun, 15 times in 17 games its been over 2.5 goals

Re: Bundesliga > October 5-7 I kind of like 1.91 for Bayern to win both halves against Hoffenheim. They have achieved this 11 times in their last 20 home league games.

Re: Man City v QPR > 1st September Man city league games last season at home. 19 first half goals and 48 second half goals. 11/10 for highest scoring half is a steal. CIty played very Italian like over defensive first half soccer last season. In the second half they open up and score plenty. Re: Man City v QPR > 1st September Man City should cruise this game but 1.22 hardly seems worth it. Maybe a better bet is the Over /Under 2.5 . Over is 1.36 with city having a 79% over 2.5 rate at home last season.

Re: Antepost > 2012/13 Liverpool drew 9 games at home last season. That won't happen again this year. Its better to win 6 and lose 3 than draw 9, so their style of play will change. Chelsea or WBA makes no difference. Clueless is Clueless, the location changed :D There are other factors with this season. Like a World Cup Year, the Euro Champs extends the season. What effect will the Olympics have ? Do the players that competed come back tired, or carrying a niggle ? I have been doing quite a bit of research into season performance. ie What kind of win/draw/loss rates do teams have in Aug, Sept,Oct vs. March,April, May ? The big squaded teams tend to be more solid in the later months. Makes sense. Less fatigue, fewer injuries, higher quality replacements. Predicting individual games in first few weeks of the season is a minefield...

Re: Antepost > 2012/13 Hello all, I see some weird predictions regarding Chelsea for the coming season. They are going to have a poor season. Their win in the champions league was the biggest fluke since liverpool's win in 2005. Di Matteo has not a clue regarding defense and defensive structure. They will leak goals, and he will prob be fired February 2013. As WBA manager between june 2009 and feb 6th 2011 he managed 1 clean sheet in 24 league games. That's appalling. Man City will underperform again , and win the league again (just too many great players will overcome the managers ineptitude). Man United's collective whole will be greater than the parts, and they will challenge for the title. 2011 was really a horrible season, winning nothing, not achieving the 2nd round of champions league. You gotta be puzzled by the demise of Dimitar Berbitov. Surely he would have been a better option that either Hernadez or Wellbeck ? Spurs will struggle with the new manager, who really has not come to terms with English football. Porto in supaliga where 2 of 3 games are complete walkovers is hardly a yardstick !!! Arsenal will be solid, and much better than they were last year. Wenger may be petulant but he is an excellent manager. Liverpool will be vastly improved from last year. Andy Carrol will start scoring goals. Kenny Dalglish may have been a favorite there but as a manager he was very average. SO its Man City Man U Arsenal Liverpool Chelsea Spurs Just my 2c

Hi all , With so many sites giving out soccer predictions how do you figure out who the best ones are ? I have seen the tipster comp , but it is unclear to me how it works ? Is there anything else ? Would like to see the tip-predictions sites go head to head and put their money where their collective mouths are .... just my 2 cents, Neil. (sorry if I posted in wrong place, finding my way here)

Re: Serie A > October 20/21 I was also looking at the Juventus game . Think that odds of 3/4 for the home win a great. Juv are so on the up and up, playing terrific soccer and definitely one of the European form boys. According to these stats http://www.soccer-betbrain.com/soccer-form-guide-over-under-goals they have not been beaten at home in the league in 27 games. I'll go with the stats and put my money on the 3/4 home win. Neil.
