  1. Re: Coral Poker 30-30 satelites is it possible to sell the T$ on at coral poker or something. Basically, I would love to have a go at this satellite and the next step as well. But if I win, I most likely wouldnt be able to go. I would like to sell the final ticket on coral to someone else. On pokerstars this is really easy to do cos you can transfer/exchange T$, or use the ticket value on other tourney. Can one do something similar on coral poker?

  2. Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th

All of these Europa league games are landmines. You really don't know what team the mangers will put out, or if a team is trying at all (Ajax 0-3 Salzburg perfect example) My feeling is that motivation is the most important criteria. So which 1st legs have produced results that will generate MOTIVATION ? We'll for me , any team that won the 1st leg by 2 goals or more will not be motivated. They just have to keep it steady, play dull defensive football and kill of the game. The are nicely ahead, just maintain the lead and cruise over the line. So that rules out Esbjerg 1-3 Fiorentina Dynamo Kiev 0-2 Valencia Ajax 0-3 Saltzburg Juventus 2-0 Trabzonspor I don't think you can look for an explosion of goals in any game that finished 1st leg 0-0. In these games the away team has done the business, and they want a tight controlled game at home where they win it 1-0 or 2-0 That excludes Anzhi 0-0 Genk Chernomorets 0-0 Lyon Swansea 0-0 Napoli Tel Aviv 0-0 Basel So by a process of elimination we are left with Plzen 1-1 Shakhtar Porto 2-2 Frankfurt Maribor 2-2 Sevilla The above 3 1st legs indicate desire, goals, and motivation and I think they will all be excellent candidates for BTTS and over 2.5 goals. EQUAL teams that have something to play for , that are scoring goals. Perfect ! Three games where I do like the home win Basel Home Win over Tel Aviv 1.75 (betvictor) 0-0 1st leg Genk Home WIn over Anzhi is 2.05 (bet365) 0-0 1st leg Frankfurt Home WIn Porto at 3.3 (betvictor) 2-2 1st leg
not as easy as that Neil. Frankfurt for example dont need to win. They only need to draw 0:0 or 1:1 and they are through on away goals. Agree about motivation though and it is one thing i am looking at. Though really hard with all these changed lineups involved
  3. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > Tuesday February 25th

It was still a late late equaliser which done Scunthorpe though. Just never seen it out. Painful one for us. The thing with drifting prices is that it can often work both ways so I don't like to pay much attention to them once I have set my mind on a certain selection. An example last weekend I noticed was a league match in Venezuela where a big team called Caracas had an easy match at home on paper. Their odds went from 1/4 the day before to 4/6 before kick off. Yet they still won 4-1. Make of that what you will.
yeah same thing happened with hull yesterday. They went from 1.70 to 2.10 in the final 30 or so mins, and still won easily. It does work both ways but I generally found that it works against the drifting team more often than not. But its just another thing to keep in mind while betting. I have often backed teams that drifted heavily cos I thought people were overreacting. Like in situations where starting line up is anounced with their star striker but I think the replacement is still able and itching to prove himself, where as the market is over-reacting. Anyways, great calls tonight.. All we can do is keep guaging the form and just keep market movements at the back of our mind as sometimes when you are 50-50 on a bet, that bet clearly becomes a "no bet" once the drift gets accounted for.
  4. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > Tuesday February 25th

The odds were rising on both Scunthorpe and Mansfield fairly considerably ..... and they both failed to win' date=' interesting , it happens more often in the favour of the bookies than you would expect, in fact if you layed the teams I'm sure you would make a profit in the long term where odds moved >= 15%[/quote'] And this is why I always do my best to point them out even though it might not be to everyones taste. Think moves should be paid attention to considerably, especially if such popular picks are drifting massively.
  5. Re: Olympiacos v Manchester United > Tuesday February 25th

I bet nobody saw this coming.... Not one home goal by any team in this round of Champions League Man City 0-2 Barcelona AC Milan 0-1 Ath Madrid Leverkusen 0-4 PSG Arsenal 0-2 Bayern Zenit 0-3 Dortmund It probably will continue in this game. I thought Vidic and Ferdinand were decent in their last outing. They be down on a yard of pace, but these two are still excellent in the air. Schalke 0-xx Real Madrid Galatasaray 0-1 Chelsea so it could be all 8 games. I like the match-flow bet, United to score 1st and win is 2.3 on 888sport and United to win to nil which is 3.6 on BET365
Zenit 1 BVB Dortmund 2 Oleg Shatov 57' amazing stats nonetheless goals galore in russia now.

  7. Re: Olympiacos v Manchester United > Tuesday February 25th

Olympiacos have something of a striker crisis for the game' date=' Saviola is out for 2 weeks after getting injured at the weekend, back-up striker Marko Scepovic scored a hat-trick after coming on for Saviola but is ineligible for the European game. They sold star striker Kostas Mitroglu to Fulham in January and his replacement Nelson Valdez in also ruled out through injury. Guessing Joel Campbell will be given a role slightly higher up the pitch.[/quote'] yes and because of this I was all over united even with Mata out. I think januzaj was on the bench against palace when mata started and I think januzal coming in for mata wouldnt be too bad. The thing is it seems with Phil Jones and Jonny Evans injured, and Smalling expected to cover Rafael’s absence at right-back David Moyes has little choice but to partner Vidic and Ferdinand at the back. Although, Ferdinands positioning was excellent against palace, he is slow. But do Olympiakos have the strikers and the counters to take advantage of this weakness in Man UTD defense? It seems not. Hence, my bet has to be United to win as I think CL is their only respite this year and RVP and co will relish it tonight, even in a very intimidating and noisy stadium. After all, these are the nights such players dream of.
  8. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > Tuesday February 25th

We always do all our pre-work' date=' of all matches before even looking at the odds. First we get all info avaliable, analyse the games in depths, then finally we look at the odds.[/quote'] this is how it should be. But from experience popular bets always get cut heavily in the lower leagues but when one is moving significantly in the opposite direction and a punter comes along saying that "evens is too big" without looking at the fact that it was 1.60 across the board before it drifted to evens, I just think more often than not that person or his followers may bet "blind" without even considering the odds movement. To me personally, both price movements and team info are part of the analysis for the bet. If you think a bookie is taking a position, I would rather try to find out why they are willing to risk 10s of thousands when they could just make money out of the margin and my tenner might not be the smart-money I think it is. But like i said, I love to point huge movements like this 25% drift on a popular fav. GL this midweek everyone
  9. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > Tuesday February 25th even though evens looks like a good price on scunthorpe, I think you guys are missing something. Bookies are not fools and they opened up at 1.70-1.80. Now they have drifted scunthorpe to over evens. Normally a huge fav's odds shorten when people like us bet on them. Especially for lower leagues. Such considerably drift cant be bet on blindly.

  10. Re: Norwich City v Tottenham Hotspur > Sunday February 23rd

Anyone know anything about what niggling injuries spurs players had suffered? Emmanuel Adebayor, Aaron Lennon, Kyle Walker and Hugo Lloris are expected to be available at Carrow Road, despite missing out against Dnipro due to "niggling" injuries. I would like to know what these niggles were as although they might not affect their performance if they start, they might cause these very important players to be over-cautious or at least put doubts in their minds in 50-50s. EDIT: Just found this: EDIT: Just to add, it seems everyone, including me, is either on unders or tottenham to win to nil or BTTS = NO. However, I have been keeping track of the price lines of this game and BTTS = yes has shortened considerably (from 1.80 to 1.62 at bet365 for example). Still researching to find what news has come out to have such an affect (maybe a spurs defender is carrying a minor knock and there might be a last minute assessment, etc. Kyle Walker seems the most likely candidate). Either way, be careful guys.
still hasnt found anything that will explain the drift. Reports circling around that Norwich has told Houghton he will be sacked if they lose to spurs. However, dont understand how this could affect the BTTS market but not the outright market where spurs are still around the odds they have been for a few days. Maybe someone will tell us whats up. Until then its a no bet game for me now.

Sherwood remains hopeful some of those faces will be fit to return at Norwich but is NOT anticipating all of them will be ready to come back into his side. “There will be a few back,” he added. “A few won’t be ready. We are looking to refresh certain areas. Some areas we won’t be able to but between now and then they have to recover.”

  12. Re: Newcastle United v Aston Villa > Sunday February 23rd so no one thinks villa might get joy on the counter especially since newcastle can be got at. Villa is a good team away from home and I think newcastle would rather play villa away then at home. Although the price on villa is not as big as I was expecting. I will have to come back to this game if the price improves but for now its a no bet. However, I will have a small punt on Agblonlahor first goalscorer at 9/1 (various)
