  1. Re: cheltenham chat thread 2013

nothing in the south and lookiing at the maps, they may get a small dusting but nothing else, temps rise tomorrow to 4 degrees and sunny. Cheltenham eve for me is better than xmas eve, i'm like a kid in a sweetshop
Yeah, but the bookies own the shop....And all the sweets are on the top shelf!, You get 1 sweet for nothing, You get hooked on sugar..then your teeth start falling out!
  2. Re: GOOD Ground Anticipated For Opening Day of Cheltenham. The rain will not fall again until at least thursday, when the temp starts to rise again, However more than was anticipated in the rain fall over the last 72 hours..Put the ground as Soft, but without a doubt will be stickey,,,due to the covers going on tonight and tomorrow night...a low of -4 at worst, rising to +1 at best Monday. On monday night the worst it will go to is -4...But rising on tuesday to +4...Wrap up well if your going Tuesday, maybe some sunshine Tuesday. Tuesday again will fall to -4 low over night, but Temp is slightly better on Wednesday rising to +6..But again wed night thu morning will fall below freezing.

  3. Re: Tuesday 1:30: William Hill Supreme Novices' Hurdle My very last point on this...The bookies are frightened to death of this winning, their liabilities must be thru the roof..That is why for the first time in their history..WH are first 5 1/4 odds...In other words they dont want any more money for the FAV, they see a balance in the laying of the rest of the field, and will try to make their book up thru the e/w market...also by offering the worst prices e/w.

  4. Re: Tuesday 1:30: William Hill Supreme Novices' Hurdle The TIMEFORM boys have him as the best novice [TABLE]

AND HE BEAT NOTHING!... Do let me know as soon as you can afer 1:30pm on Tuesday, whether you are impressed or not...He is value imo, and the bookies will get there ass's kicked up and down that cheltenham hill with this one..IMO of course.
  5. Re: Tuesday 1:30: William Hill Supreme Novices' Hurdle No doubt someone will go 2/1 MTOY on Tuesday morning...That may be the biggest prce you will see him for some time... We have a very fast improving 162 horse with potential to be a 170+ horse as a novice, You can count them on 1 hand..in the history of NH racing. 2/1 is value IMO. Every time I look at the Newbury race, I'm feeling all warm and cuddley.:cigar

  6. Re: THE GRAND NATIONAL 2013 April 6th Personally I think WHAT A FREIND will end up being top weight, on 11-10 come the day, putting the weights up by 5lb... Suits me, I reckon i will be on the gamble of the race further down...Waiting for March 19th...second declaration stage.. Sorry only 73 gone forward as it stands...That will be down to around 55-60 on March 19th.:D

  7. Re: The Trainers Thread

Jo Hughes ( a.k.a. P Blockley ( twice banned ) ) seems to have her horses in decent form with quite a few winners in relation to the size of her stable. She has a few entries in the next few days over both codes ' date=' given the fact who is the real trainer and the fact he likes to pull of gambles , keep an eye out for her runners.[/quote'] Yep a blooming disgrace, how its allowed to go on....Only a matter of time before the old habbits will come back..The Ramsdens come to mind!
  8. Re: FA Cup Quarter Finals > 9th - 10th March I got some raised eyebrows...when i said about Moyes and the Board v the fans...I would now confidently say 90% of FEE paying fans want a change to 1 or both, I say moyes has done well with what he has had. But im now sure he will be somwere else thru his choice, gl to him... B Kenwrite felt the full force of the fans wrath today. I do think its like teflon.... As for the remaining EFC games about 10...I will say now, they wont win more than 3...I'll be against them every game, too many players will be planning pastures knew..Plus a manager

  9. Re: BBOTD SATURDAY 9TH march 3.15 Sandown MR MOLE. 7/2 pp hills bog win. This horse runs off 138, the same as Blowing Wind carried the year he won it then on to County Hurdle triumph. AP was in the saddle that day, and I really see him doing the same tomorrow. Fast pace on soft ground will be right up his street. I will be backing him for the county hurdle prior to tomorrows race, as his price will crash..If he does what i expect he will do here.

  10. Re: Jumps Racing ~ Saturday 9th March

3.15 Sandown: Paddy Power Imperial Cup (Listed Handicap) (2m110y) The betting suggests this will fall to a novice with Mr Mole and Tominator dominating the betting from either end of the handicap. McCoy usually rides them both and has to ride Mr Mole for his boss here and probably wouldn’t swap him for anything else. He’s a bit short for my liking but wouldn’t put anyone off following him after his very impressive run last time. The Pipe yard have to be respected and of their pair I like the top weight Tanerko Emery who will go in the ground and stays well. Claret Cloak is worth a look for a yard who targets this race and Barizan shouldn’t be forgotten off bottom weight in a very competitive affair. Selections; 1pt Tanerko Emery 11/1

Blue Square 1pt Claret Cloak 16/1 Paddy Power

    Full Preview; http://www.punterslounge.com/sandown-betting-pipe-to-land-imperial-cup-again-with-top-weight-tanerko-emery

Cautionary Note m8....Claret Cloak may end up being a NR, Trainer stated in RP the other day, she was waiting for fast ground, and could not beleive it when she heard the weather forecast, As she said the horse does not like it too deep. Keep an eye on the news, id say.:ok
  11. Re: Jumps Racing - Friday 8th March

2.50 SANDOWN...GREYWELL BOY..7/2 around the place. Nick williams must have been doing a rain dance, and must be over the moon with whats come. IMO, he will take some catching here, Im sure he will be allowed to do his own thing out in front. For me it stands out as an excellent trade, around 4.8 at the moment...and why wont he go well and go under evens IR, with the possiblity he will win it easily.:ok
Yep thats almost HEAVY now given the times... Well he won, thats all that matters..:ok
