A few weeks ago I received an email from Pokerstars to say that they were discontinuing 'Stars Coins' on 7th Feb and that they would convert your coins at a rate of 1p per coin and add it to your account balance. I've just had another email but this time there's no mention of converting your coins to cash. Might be a good time to buy something with them or convert them to cash yourself via the 'Rewards' tab. Just sayin'

I read that one too. I'll always remember him saying, "If you want to win big, you've got to risk big" or words to that effect.... maybe that's why so many professional poker players repeatedly ended up going broke.

I have Moorman's Book Of Poker by Chris Moorman, very good. Every Hand Revealed by Gus Hansen, again very good. For Richer For Poorer by Victoria Coren, not particularly a strategy book but an excellent read nevertheless. The Mental Game of Poker by Jared Tendler, which I assume everyone has either read or heard about I've also read quite a few autobiographies by poker players, the most memorable being by Mike Matusow. Watching/following this thread with interest

I still have active accounts with Stars, Grosvenor, 888 and GG but I'm not a high volume player. I much prefer to play live. Grosvenor seems to be the softest site and the most user-friendly platform with by far the best Customer Service Dept, ie English people on a UK landline.
