ReasoningCink has had 2 wins and 2 10th place finishes here in 6 attempts. He finished 15th in the US MAsters last week so is in good form.
I think Furyk, Davis Love & Cink are 3 to take against the field here. It looks like its the kind of course that suits all 3.

ReasoningCouples has had 9 top 10's here and is a past winner. His form is ok with a couple of top 10's this year. Bjorn has had 3 missed cuts in this event from 6 attempts. Recent form is patchy with just a 69th place 2 weeks ago in a weak field.

ReasoningYou can't ignore Di Marco's record here. He has had 4 top 12's in the last 5 years, with a withdrawel in the other year. He should have won it in 2004 but for a last round 76, and he finished t2 here last year. For the bet I have taken out the big 5 - Woods, mickelson, VJ, Els & goosen. Place = top 5 at quarter odds.
  4. Re: Golf - The Masters Skybet are offering a free golf bet too. Bet £5 on the masters - I assume it can be a matchbet or outright, when placing the bet type in the promotion code "golf" then you have a free £5 on any golf event.. I have had a really busy few days (should have researched earlier I know) so will be a bit of a rush job for me tomorrow finding bets and with the best prices gone too!

  5. Re: Formula 1:Australian GP A very eventful GP. I said after the last race that F1 is the most frustrating sport to bet on.. I recorded the race and watched it when I woke up this morning. I ran out of objects to throw at the tv.. Not sure if it was totally Massa's fault but him going off and taking Rosberg with him was a huge blow for me on the first lap.. I think Massa will fail to finish over half the race this season. Ferrari took the wrong man and should have gone for Nick Heidfield. Could even have goin gfor ralph schumacher but he wouldn't have taken to kindly to take 2nd fiddle to michael. Expect Ferrari to be stronger in San Marino in 3 weeks time (well they can't get much weeker) as they some new parts. Well there is not much left of the old ones anyone given the two crashes their two cars were involved in today!! Also remind me just to bet on the winner in the next race, plus lay instead of back the Williams drivers.

    Bookmaker/PriceCentrebet @ 1.75 (Back)
ReasoningThis is Webber's home grand prix so should know the circuit well and the cooler conditions should help his bridgestone tyres. Car problems permitting I can't see webber failing to finish in the top 8.

    Bookmaker/PriceWilliam Hill @ 2.75 (Back)
ReasoningRosberg had a flying first race with a fastest lap & 7th place finish after a first lap mishap. I think he would have had a top 6 finish last race if not for an engine blow up. There is a possibility of rain for the race which may well suit his bridgestone tyres. He starts from 14th and I would price him more like 2.25 for a points finish which is around most other bookies have him priced at.

ReasoningI am not a great fan of Massa but I think he is a little overpriced here for a points finish. He starts in 15th for this race, but came through from the back of the grid to finish 5th and ahead of m scumacher last time out. If he doesn't spin or have mechanical problems I think he has a fair chance of a top 8 finish.

    Date02/04/2006
    Bookmaker/PriceExpekt @ 3.25 (Back)
ReasoningHe won the last two races and is favourite to make it a hattrick. He usually stays out a few laps later than teammate fisichella before refuelling which should be to his advantage. He also should have faster pace than pole sitter Button. He will have to watch out for the two mclarens especially at the start. If Alonso gets away well though I can see him picking up his 3rd vitory out of 3 races.

ReasoningMclaren are looking a little better for this race, and MOntoya especially looked decent in qualifying and his talking his chances up. Mclaren usually stay out on track longer so this may well help them to overhaul the cars ahead of them on the grid. Also if one renault fails to finish then if both mclarens finish strongly then it could well be good enough.

ReasoningHe finished 10th here last year where he shot a closing 66. He finished a respectable 16th at the players championship last week, and 20th at Bay Hill the week before. He is a long accurate hitter, though his putting may hold him back from chalenging for the win.

ReasoningCink lives near this course and he enjoys playing here. He has finished in the top 10 6 times in 10 starts. His best finish was a 2nd in 1999. His scoring has been consistent this year having only gone over par in 4 rounds out of 20 this year.

ReasoningRollins finshed 5th here in 2002 and 6th in 2003. He finished 8th last week at the Players event which was very respectable given that high quality field. He has also had a couple of top 5 finishes this year.

His scoring has been consistent this year having only gone over par in 4 rounds out of 20 this year. Jacobsen finished a respecable t22 last week but missed the previous two cuts. It is his first time on this course so may take time to adapt. He has had 7 rounds of 74 or worse from 20 in pga tour events this year.

ReasoningHe finished t20th in the players championship last week, so in this weak field he has every chance. He has twice finished in the top 3 here and it is obviousely an event he enjoys given that he doesn't play too many events on the European Tour now as he focus more on the u.s.
  9. Re: GOLF:Players Championship I didn't see any of the golf yesterday, so came home to find how Adam Scott was doing as he was just a shot of the lead after 2 rounds. I scrolled down and down and down before I found him at t50, just the 12 shots off the lead after an 82.... The course was obviousely playing much harder but there were still a few 68's and 69's. I think Tiger & Els are a little to far away to challenge for the win, but any one of about 22 players will have a fair chance of a win. Vj Singh looks the most likely winner just 1 shot of the lead.

  15. Re: Formula 1 Malaysian Grand Prix F1 is probably one of the most frustrating sports to bet on. You are relying a little on luck, as engine blow up, someone going into the back of your car etc.. I do either go for small stakes or cover my bets. I had a feeling that the engiens on the Williams would last which I posted before the race, which proved correct. Heidfield was cruising in 5th and was a great performance till his engine gave way. Raikkonen taken out the race at the first corner. Was considering Villenueve for the points but stuck with the Heidfield the much better driver. Barrichello never have liked him, a 10 second stop & go for speeding in the pit lane - that about summed up my weekend. My only race winner was the Renault to sore the most points bet which won by a mile... Ferrari struggled a bit but I put that down to the tyres which don't go as well in the hot temperatures. Surprised that Massa finished ahead of Michael though, how did that happen???

Barrichello may well be fuelled up for a long stint and with possibily a good 6 or 7 race retirements (maybe more with the heat/humidity) with some of them front runners, Barrichello has every chance.
