Re: Fantasy Football League No Lamps for me, got Essien instead, plus Bridge so will probly lose out to the others in top 4. Messed up a bit this week as should have used my transfer wildcard and didn't realise Ashley Cole was back playing either.

Re: Fantasy Football League Did you make a fair few transfer last week "Crouch", as I didn't think the points gap would be that close? I still have my free transfers week to use. Tempted to use it for this weeks round of fixtures.

Re: Cricket: Chappell Hadlee Trophy NZ vs Aus (ODI) Stuart Clark was a surprising omission from your squad as he is probly your best bowler. Watching the game with a fair few Aussies, so could give em a bit more ribbing after their latest defeat. They are still slagging of Shane, 88 runs from 10 overs, bit of a battering that.. Great game to watch, and New Zealand are certaitly a big threat for the world cup.

Re: I Know The Score - 2006/07 it couldn't be tighter at the top, with the field closing in as well with the top two just rebuilding their banker bonus. Top 7 are covered by just 125 points. I keep missing out on the banker bonus by one goal, think I have done that 6 or 7 in a row! If I have nailed a few of them I would be 120 points better off.. I am guessing it is the top 10 scores taken into accouint for the mini league???

Re: Fantasy Football League Yep great going Crouch Potato. I had a slow start but I have risen to 3rd now in the PL league. I won it last year and I won't give up my title without a fight..

Re: Cricket: Commonwealth Bank ODI Series & Twenty20 International great stuff David. Australia's' big hitting was certainly entertaining to watch, while England were just an embarrassment once more. Can't see England beating Australia even once this summer, don't think they will fare any better against New Zealand.

Re: Fantasy Football League I managed to enter a last minute team and have just added Nick's winbetters to the PL league. I will be doing my best to defend my title. good luck all!

Re: I Know The Score - 2006/07 I've just joined in though ended up on 0 after saturdays games. I forgot to put my username as it is here. I am NICKYP. I have looked to try and chance this but don't think I can.

Re: Twenty20 Cup Cricket Good luck on your bets Kev. I am having a little dabble on Leics to win the 20/20 as I think they have been underestimated. Will be hoping my team Notts win, though I am sad I won't be able to watch it from Down Under.

Re: Fantasy Football League I'll be back looking to retain my title. I am sure I won't have it as easy this time round, especially as I am away from the U.K. until mid march.
-
Re: World Cup Fantasy Football I could well have won this like I did the premiership one, but I have a big h/cap to overcome. I assume those above me know what they are doing to get the highest points possible. I have no chance of winning cos I am down under at the mo, so only logging in about twice a week. I am just trying to stay in the top 6.

Re: World Cup Fantasy Football whoops I think I must have forgotten to submit to join your league. I am gatecrashing the party, although my team like me is in no good shape.

Re: County Championship Cricket 6/6 - 10/6 Great Stuff Kevshat, I am a Notts supporter BTW. Cricket is a funny old game, 7 matches ago we were celebrating the title, now we are propping up everyone else. At least Notts have only lost one 1 dayer so far this season, expect it to be two after today though..

Re: World Cup Fantasy Football Just had a glance at a few other teams, and mine looks nearly identical to "Svernikov's". Great minds must think alike. I had Ballack too originally.

Re: World Cup Fantasy Football I will have a half hearted stab at this one when I find the time to pick my team.

Re: World Cup Fantasy Football yeah there are plenty of alternatives both free ones and for an entry fee. Free ones include those at the following sites: Sportinglife Yahoo Premierleague Metro (not sure if this one is free)

Re: Fantasy Football: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ Cheers Bucko for the entertaining updates over the season. Well done too for clinching the runners up spot.. I will of course be back next season to defend my league title, which I am sure will be a lot hard to defend, as some of you learn by your mistakes from this season.

Re: IKTS - Final standings Like Spurs my favourite premiership club I have just missed out on champs league qualification. I noticed some of you were arsenal fans who finished just above & below me. The gods are definetly shining on you. I wish you a speedy recovery spreadman.

Re: Fantasy Football: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ I might have got manager of the week had I transfered in the right fulham striker. Well done James, 106 is a very impressive score. I forgot to select my team today as the deadline has gone. Oh well Henry will still be my captain. Do I get anything for winning the league (by miles) ? Maybe Paul Ross can sort me out a PL t-shirt or something. I would then wear it in Hong Kong and Australia while I am over there this summer (free advertising for the PL!)

Re: Golf PGA Tour - Zurich Classic
Sport Golf Event New Orleans Selection B Watson 1/4 1-5 (Each-Way) Strength 1/10 Date 30/04/2006 Bookmaker/Price Ladbrokes @ 151.00 (Back) Reasoning He is top of the Driving Distance stats and he should enjoy this Nicklaus layout where he has room off the tee. He is also ninth in greens in regulation and that is an important stat this week. The fact that he plays his second shots with shorter irons obviously helps him score well in G.I.R and if he can get some putts to drop he could play a big part. Watson was fourth at the Sony Open at the start of the year on smallish greens and also showed his ability to shoot low when 19-under gave him tied third at Tucson. Two top fours from eight starts is pretty good going sohe looks a good value punt at 150s. -
Re: Golf Euro Tour - Open de Espana outsiders usually go well here - I have had a punt on gustafsson looking at course form rather than current form.
Sport Golf Event Open de Espana Selection P Gustafson 1/4 1-5 (Each-Way) Strength 2/10 Date 30/04/2006 Bookmaker/Price Blue Square @ 81.00 (Back) Reasoning Gustafson enjoys playing here having won the Qualifying school in 04 by 3 shots and then losing in a playoff here last season. He has shot 4 of his last 6 rounds here under par. This is a pick based on course form as his recent form is poor. -
Re: IKTS - Week 34 Scores well done david for keeping your banker bonus, I have struggled to get past two on the bonus his year.. Who have you had as bankers for the last few games?

Re: I Know The Score - 2006/07 I have only gained 5 points on you Elmcroft, but I have 30 more points to make up on WOlfy who had a fantastic week.. I was thankful to Chelsea with their late winner to enable me to hold on to my banker bonus.. 4th in the League of League - great going guys! League-of-Leagues Leaderboard
