Re: Darts: European Championships I have also stuck a few quid on jones to win the final at betfair @ 25's.
-
Re: Darts: European Championships W Jones is 5/6 on the handicap with a 6.5 start in the final against taylor with victor chandler. Taylor must be pretty shattered with not much of a break between semi and final. It is first to 11.

Re: Tennis - 14-20 June Becker was odds against for a while with a couple of bookies, 6/4 at paddy power, 11/8 stan james. I got on at Stan james though wondering whether it is palpable price? Will go for Sergei 5/4 at Paddy Power in the other Semi, as "Psycho" stated Malisse may well be tired out as has played a lot of tennis in the past week so the number and length of matches may catch up with him.

Re: Cricket: Friends Provident Twenty 20 Hussey will bat at 5 for Notts. Notts are prone to losing a couple of early wickets in this from of the game so he could well be in before too long. I like the look of Wood to top score, 6/1 at Coral. He will come in at 3 and has a handy 20/20 average of 30. Broad isn't playing today, it's Notts home game against Worcs on the 13th he can play in, plus the 15th. The 6's bet looks a good shout Kev, I have jumped on with Paddy Power who are 10/11 on over 7.5 6's. Would take Essex over Surrey who got thrashed last time out, and Durham over Yorkshire.

Re: Tennis - French Open
Some very decent posts already:ok. I'm thinking of putting very large stakes on a Nadal v Federer final @ 11/10. Have done a fair bit of thinking over it' date=' and think its a good bet to plough alot of money into. What are your guys opinions on this specific bet? cheers.[/quote'] Federer is 11/10 on his own to make the final with bet365. Could have got 13/8 4/5 days ago on nadal v federer final, so the value has gone now. -
Re: 2010 Boxing Thread Katsidas hits hard, but is liable to get caught himself. Could develop into a slug fest but hopefully Mitchell will be wary of that. Think Mitchell can pick off Katasidas for a stoppage in rounds 9-12 for which betfred go 12/1. Also another couple of 12/1 shots which I like at ladbrokes in case it does develop into more of a slug fest. They are: Both fighters to get to get knocked down. Katsidas to get knocked down, but win the fight.

Re: Cricket: ICC World Twenty20 2010 Does seem harsh Hairy Redback. A lot of people on the betfair forum moaning about D/L costing them money, after they backed England at 1.3ish at the end of England innings, then odds shot out once the rain came. Also about 750k backed on the "will there be a result" market on betfair"

Re: Cricket: Twenty20 Cup 2009 Essex missing Bopara too, but then he has only appeared once or twice for them in 20/20. Yep a bit of value for Glamorgan 6/4 general price. They will put out about their strongest team, while Gloucs will be rotating/resting players. Would want to know Gloucs line up first though.

Re: Cricket: Twenty20 Cup 2009 Two Winner goes through matches. Leicestershire v Durham - Lay Durham around 4/6 Betfair. Durham I would say are the 2nd best team in the north division, but 4/6 away at Leics is too short. I can see value in laying Durham, and should get matched at around 4/6 on Betfair. Durham have a powerful batting line up with the likes of Warner, Mustard, Blackwell, but so have Leics in Allenby, Dippenaar & Du Toit. Leics beat Yorkshire in their last outing & Lancs at the start of the week. Essex V Hampshire - Hampshire 11/10 Ladbrokes I would favour Hants. Essex will be missing Cook & Kaniera. Hants full strength. They have a powerful batting line up, and an expereinced bowling line up with the likes of Cork, Tremlett, plus Mascarenhas. Hants batting failed last time out, but they have been scoring plenty of runs in the other group games. Hants thrashed Essex when the sides met in the reverse fixture. views on other games: Kent v Surrey Surrey are putting out a virtual reserve team. Kent are 1/2 with Ladbrokes. Could be worth doubling up with Hampshire. Notts V Lancs - Notts 10/11 general. (matched higher on betfair) Notts need to win for 3rd spot. Lancs already topped group and are resting Chapple. Flintoff away with England, as are Sidebottom, Swann and Broad. Notts have had two convincing wins against Leicester & Derby, with Wood who has come in after being out injured being in fine form, and Brown opening who has found some form now. Got Jefferson, Hussey & Patel to come in after that, and the likes of Read & Ealham lower down. Lancashire are a good one day unit this season, but having topped the group might not be so up for the game. I will be off to Trent Bridge today hoping for a Notts win. :hope

Re: Cricket: West Indies vs India ODI Series yep great stuff kev. I took the 6's line on your advice, in the first ODI, and will go same again. Sarwan to bt sharma as well I will take.

Re: Cricket: Twenty20 Cup 2009 They look 2 good shouts Kev. I was at the Notts v Durham game, and the boundary rope was brought well in on one side so should be the same again. Notts batting has been pretty abysmal in one dayers, Voges has gone back for an "A" tour, and Hussey is yet to arrive. Jefferson been in decent nick, and besides Voges the only Batsmen who is, plus Read. Swann may be allowed to play and will open for Notts if he plays. If Notts missing Swann, Broad, and Sidebottom (best chance of playing), then Yorks look a great bet at 10/11. Just looking back at Notts trent bridge 20/20's in 2008 though, the overs line would have only come in against Durham.

Re: I Know The Score 2008/09 Well done topnotchbloke. I couldn't catch you, as you had a good scoring last couple of weeks.
-
Re: Cricket: Friends Provident Trophy 2009 Luckily for Notts, Worcs bottled it more than them. Warwicks managed not to stay ahead of D & L when the rain game, so heart break for them.

Re: Spanish GP (F1) some free money around at the mo on the race match bets. Alonso v Rosberg bet365 go 7/4 on Rosberg, bluesq go evens on Alonso. Alonso starts 8th, Rosberg 9th but Rosberg is fuelled 23kg heavier than Alonso.

Re: I Know The Score 2008/09 I am trying to time my rise to the top to perfection, and hopefully sneek into the lead in the final week. Got it down to 70 pts now, when it was over 500 pts for a number of weeks.

Re: Fantasy Premier League 2008/09 Season 108 points for me this week, and up 20 places to 27th! :D
-
Re: Cricket: Stanford Series bluesq have now shortened england on most sixes but skybet still go 10/11
-
Re: Cricket: Stanford Series looks good, though a bit wary if england are batting second chasing a small target. over 3 dropped catches is 11/10 for Stanford v england also at bluesq..
