Astrop Road did not lose anything that day when losing by 1 1/4L, he should be able to improve from that effort. Today will be his third career race and it is also the same course where he last raced. Trainer Miss Caroline Bailey bas 6 wins from 30 here the past 5 seasons, that is most wins and runs at any course. 5pts to be placed @ 1-1 Blue Square 5pts win @ 9-2 Bet365 BOG Towcester 5:55 Dont Tell Baby Most experienced runner here with three career starts - 5-3-2. Ran well last time out and price is very high for what he accomplished LTO. He was defeated 5L by Jokers Legacy but those behind him was from teams of Lleywellyn/McCoy, Henderson/Fitzgerald, and Twiston-Davies/Brennan. Dont Tell Baby baby was ahead of those 3,4,5 finishers by 8L, 18L, and 27L. Any little or same improvement from LTO should get him at least placed. 3pts ew @ 14-1 Ladbrokes

Re: Best Bet of the day Weds 9th April Kempton 8:50 Greystroke Prince Has two second placed runs from two tries on the all weather, Lingfield and Wolverhampton. His efforts on turf have not been so well, just 6-4-7-10. This first time out at Kempton should be suitable as it has only been an all weather surface where he's managed to get a chance for a win. It also shows a wide margin of improvement between turf and all weather so I really think a win is very likely this time around. Trainer W R Swinburn is in very good form, 1-3-4-2-1 from 5 of the last 6 runners - 3-2-1 with 7f runners. Swinburn had jockey Adam Kirby on 4 of the last 6 getting runnners to finish 2-4-2-1. 10pts win @ 15-8 Betfred

Commander Cove (1st) is a Tale Of The Cat colt who now have two wins in a row with the latest in a Class 4 handicap at this course. August Gale (2nd) is a Storm Cat colt on his debut from the M Johnston and Joe Fanning team. Those two were 6 lengths ahead of second, Bye Bye Bunting was a beaten a head by second. She should be better today now after going up against tougher competition last time. 5pts ew @ 9-2 Bet365 BOG Kempton 7:50 Riqaab Well backed as of now, as low as 10-11. Many rivals here have very poor form or making their debut. Riqaab has already raced twice and was capable of doing well after 5 months off racing. An improvement after that long layoff should come today. His last race was for a loss to a runner entered for the Dante Stakes and defeated a Gulch filly entered for the 1000 Guineas. 10pts win @ 11-10 Coral Kempton 8:20 Boz Won his last 5 races. Only 5 runnings with jockey Jamie Spencer on board. Spencer is back again today so a similar performace of last year is what I expect. Thornton is back again today so what she needs for a best effort looks very possible to happen. Racing Post analysis of her win had pelnty of good things such as .. "filly on the upgrade" "jumping was much more assured" "Spring-heeled at the final two flights" "good value for her winning margin" "looks to be more to come from her" This course is not the best to follow the King & Thornton combo over the past 5 seasons but Atomic Winner brings good value for recent performance. 5pts ew @ 5-1 Bet365 BOG Ludlow 4:20 Sharp Dresser Have done well on the Flat (2-2-1) and with NH career (2-1). Trainer Miss Venetia Williams does very well here, having won 9 of the last 33 hurdle runs for +23.25 LSP the past 5 seasons. Gets an upgrade in jockey from Liam Treadwell (on board the last two) into Sam Thomas today. She won by 7 lengths last time and I think with the way she has been treated throughout her career the winning trend should continue. 5pts ew @ 4-1 Bet365 BOG Ludlow 5:20 Flying Squad Being tried in a Listed (NHF) at Cheltenham last time out (01Jan) should have him stronger for today. He lost by 6 1/4L (4th of 15) that day and the previous runs was in a Class 5 event. Has plenty of experience for this type of race and they are respectable for today. This Darley bred runner should be capable to improve and I think a similar performance of 99 days ago is enough to win this. 5pts ew @ 13-2 Boylesports BOG Towcester 4:30 Dancing Dasi 5th of 17 LTO (11 day ago) in a Listed Novice Handicap Hurdle at Newbury. She did very well before than when raced in the same Class of today - 3-2-1-2 in last 4 Class 4's. Jockey Jack Doyle returns for today and he has done well for trainer V R A Dartnall - 8 wins from 33. Doyle also has his most wins when running in Novices' Hurdle - 6 wins from 23. Ground should be Good to Soft and that is where Dancing Dasi has a form of 2-1-2 from her last three. 10pts win @ 8-11 Stan James BOG Towcester 4:30 Speed Bonnie Boat Trainer H D Daly is the most successful trainer here from all trainers having a runner for this race. Daly has 12 wins from 49 here the past 5 seasons - 9 wins from 30 hurdlers for +43.03 LSP the past 5 seasons. Jockey on board Mark Bradbrune is second most successful here among all jockeys in this race behind A P McCoy. Bradburne has 16 wins from 75 here, 12 wins from 41 hurdlers for +61.70 LSP the past 5 seasons. Hurdle debut for Speed Bonnie Boat but profitable mark of trainer and jockey looks very tempting to go with this one in case Dancig Dasi fails to fire. 5pts ew @ 4-1 Stan James BOG

Not had a better finish than 6th of 8, beaten 2 3/4L but booking of Jamie Spencer may get him to improved by a wide margin. His last two (9th and 8th) are his only tries on the all weather, both at Kempton, but recent form of trainer H J L Dunlop looks good to catch a big price. Dunlop had a 12-1 winner to start the month and that runner had a worse form entering his race than Bahamian Blue. Dunlop also had a 4th of 7 at the price of 33-1, another with poor form going into her race. Bahamian Blue is the third runner of the month for Dunlop and current trend suggests form going in is worth to forgive. Dunlop since 28Mar has a form of 2-3-1-4 with all-weather, truf and national hunt runners. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Better Bet

He has a second and third from three runs here with the unplaced being the latest where he had plenty of chances before falling 2 out. Failed to win from two starts with Sam Thomas and R Walsh taking turns but with Liam Heard on this time should not be a problem. Head has 5 wins from 24 bumper lifetime runs for trainer P F Nicholls. What Earth Dream learned from the two previous jockeys should be a big help for today. His last Flat run was the Queen's Vase (Group 3) in 2006, finishing 4 lengths in 6th behind Sopay Danger His previous run before that was at this course and distance for a 3 1/2L win in a Maiden Stakes (Div I), 4-6 favorite. In good form jockey is booked, Richard Hughes (two wins and one second from last five going into today). Good price, as high as 12-1 (Sportingbet). 3pts ew @ 12-1 Sportingbet

He was ahead of Pocket Aces (5L), Richard's Sundance (8 1/2L) and Panbourne (18 1/2L). Pangbourne followed up with two thirds and a Handicap Chase win on the next three. Pocket Aces won his next race and also a Class 3 Handicap Hurdle at Kempton 4 days ago. Richard's Sundance has a second and two thirds since losing to Herecomesthetruth. How to make selections. Racing Post Stats: the past 5 seasons 1) Select a race. 2) Find the Trainer with most wins at the course (overall wins) 3) If that trainer has that course for his/her most wins at any other course the past 5 seasons then it is a selection. That simple. Can be done with jockeys. I found that jockeys are able to be placed alot and if there is a trainer and jockey combo who are both a selection they are good to bet on. I do not have the time for this..anyone willing to take the stats??!!
