Re: BBOTD Tues 19th Folkestone 3.50: Royal Premier 1pt win @ 18/1 Will Hill BOG Won well over a furlong shorter at Yarmouth in July with the form of that race looking solid - front pair pulled well clear and second went on to win next time up with the 3rd placed home horse (beaten over 9 lengths) going close when next seen also. Has disappointed since however, penultimate start ended up well beaten over 12f - a trip which may prove to be too short for the horse these days and LTO when well beaten on ground far softer than ideal. Lots of positives today: back on a sound surface again; reunited with Seb Sanders who was on board for that last win; only 2lbs higher than for that win so very well handicapped and has won from a lot higher in the past. The step up an extra furlong shouldn't inconvenience and think the horse has a big chance here at a tasty price.

Re: BBOTD 19th September 2.50 Leicester: Yearbook 1pt win @ 40/1 Boylesports Blew out big style LTO at Carlisle when racing on soft ground for first time in career. Although on the soft side of good, the ground should be drying out here with the weather so should be more suitable. Ran well on nursery debut before last time flop so shold be given another chance here IMO.

Re: BBOTD 18th September 3.40 Hamilton: Amitola 1pt win @ 5/1 Bet365 Skipped a run in the Silver Cup yesterday to run in this handicap today and has ideal conditions. Only 1lb higher than highest winning mark when winning aaround this time last year in similar conditions. Quite a lightly raced 4yo so if on way back to top form this mark may be well within compass - obvious danger is the Fahey horse that was just touched off in Bronze Cup on Friday but this race may come soon enough and willing to take a chance on Amitola at the prices.

Re: bbotd saturday 5.25 Newbury: Snow Trooper 1pt win @ SP Horse won over 8f here on penultimate start in quite taking fashion coming away well to win by almost three lengths. Didn't run too badly for a way LTO when beaten fro this mark over a mile at Newmarket, however appeared to fade over final furlong so drop to 7f may not be any problem here and looks worth this drop in trip. Pretty open race and think there is every chance this one could go close as still very unexposed and may actually come on for this softer ground too looking at the horses action. Decent chance here IMO.

Re: BBOTD 16th September 3.55 Ayr: River Falcon 0.5pts e/w @ 25/1 Ladbrokes BOG I was swithering between two horses from the Goldie stable and have plumped for River Falcon. An old timer now at 11 years old, however hasn't been running at all badly from similar marks to this in recent times. Above last winning mark but if able to rekindle any of former spark is still well handicapped especially with Justin Newman claiming an additional 7lbs off top. Drawn well (hopefully) on stands side and may just get it's first win at this meeting at it's ripe old age.

Re: BBOTD - Thursday, 15th September 5.40 Kempton: Yellow Printer 1pt win @ 14/1 VC Bet BOG This horse is now very well treated on best form having dropped down to a very winnable mark and running in the lowest class of handicap company encountered to date in, what is, a fairly lightly raced career to date. Had two fairly dismal runs back for new trainer after a lengthy absence and as a consequence has plumetted to an all time low mark of only 55. Has first time blinkers applied today and dodged an engagement 5 days ago so perhaps the horse is ready to run a half decent race and with Adam Kirby a positive booking, could be worth taking a chance on at 14/1.

Mark Coumbe has been on top of all winners and this his only booked ride of the day. Look like hints that a decent run may be expected in my book. Although the horse has never won to date, this mark looks well within the horses ability given some sound efforts over the summer from higher. Must have a chance here in an open contest.

Re: FLAT Racing - Sept 13th 5.20 Folkestone: Hurakan 1pt win @ 9/1 Bet365 BOG Big chance here with Fallon a positive booking. Has ran well from higher marks than this in the past and won on the all weather from 71 in handicap company. Has a bit to prove though, trip being one (was beaten at very skinny odds on only attempt at this trip), and ground conditions as raced mainly on all weather or fast turf. However well worth a gamble at the price in my opinion for a stable in very good form and who teamed up with Fallon for a winner a fortnight ago.
