  1. Re: The Return of Inside Info As a "newbie", I would like to congratulate the powers that be here at PL on a tremendous site that provides useful, informative advice, views and those all important specialist threads. I found the site originally by accident on google - best accident of my "cyber" life. I have picked up a number of winners based on the specialist threads from the likes of Bowles, RussP, Ralphie, Mowgli et al. It was originally the "Inside Info" stickie that I frequented most of all, trying to pick up little bits of info here and there - and there were some absolute crackers, however, there was in amongst the good a hell of a lot of sh*te info (especially in the last couple of weeks of it's existence). I moved from following that sticky to following the specialist threads and now like to contribute to the daily threads and naps with my own selections, which I thoroughly enjoy (don't get nearly as much work done now as I used to!!). For what it's worth my opinion, as a "newbie" is that the site could absolutely use an inside info thread, however, from genuine sources like TBR, Bowles etc where they do actually appear to have "inside info". I hear tips from guys every other day who had info from someone who knows someone at the stable but would never in time put them up on a thread of this nature due to the fact that the majority of time... they lose, proving they aren't genuine. Unless I actually spoke to the trainer or the source from the stable myself, I wouldn't pass the info on in a thread like this. What I am trying to say is, that if there are tips upon tips appearing in this thread, they surely cannot be genuine inside information. Good luck TBR, I will follow this along with the specialist/daily threads I always follow with interest. It would be interesting if you did keep a record of all of the horses backed to show p/l. Congratulation, all, on an excellent site.

  2. Re: Warwick ~ 06/07/07 Based on MM's findings from last night results and looking at the horses drawn in these stalls, the one that most appeals to me from a value perspective is Nassau Style in the 3.30. Has a couple of lengths to find with Paradise Dancer, but is drawn better than that rival and wasn't battered about in that run. Think it may drift a bit from it's current price of 4/1 (Bet365) which would be fair value.

  3. Re: Warwick ~ 06/07/07 Warwick 5.10 - Last Flight This horse isn't the most naturally speedy so step up in trip to 2m should benefit. Stayed on strongly last time out (1m6f, soft) when giving stablemate (strong favourite) a scare. Pair were well clear of a useful field giving the form a solid look. Kayf Aramis may be the biggest danger - runs well at the course and has conditions to suit over ideal trip but has never won from a mark over 70 and is giving lumps of weight to the selection, who may turn out to be a progressive horse over this trip in these conditions.

  5. Re: Thursday 5th July Naps. Yarmouth 3.30 - What A Treasure Fairly lightly raced filly. Nice victory when first tried on the soft on penultimate start in a slightly weaker event (first two clear). Can be forgiven being well beaten back on good to firm last time. Back on soft ground, has to be given a chance in what looks a fairly open event. Mugeba looks the one she has to beat imo. WIN NAP

  6. Re: Catterick ~ 04/07/07

2.35 Catterick - There is some poor form coming into the race for all of the previously raced horses with none of the horses in those races going on to win anything at the moment so i cannot asses them. On that note i think i will side with a newcomer here' date=' [b']Midnight Muse is my selection. Has abit going for her in that the dam has produced a very useful filly in france over this same distance, at 12/1 looks reasonable for me. 3.05 Catterick - The one i am VERY interested in here is the top horse, Alabama Spirit. Take at look at the form of the last race that the horse was in, 3,1/2 L behind Little Big Boy that day. Now look at the other horses form from that. The second placed finished horse, Supermassive Muse has since gone on to win a race, The third horse Liberty Ship went on in the next race to improve to finished 2nd. Look Busy has ran 3 times and ran 3 very creditbale races finishing in the top 3 every time. Richardthesecond (who finished behind Alabama Spirit on this day) has since gone on to run a good race finished 3rd. Looks like some good form to me, one to have E/W today i think, maybe even a small stake to win at around 12/1.
2 cracking each way tips there mate - well worked out. Thanks :ok
  7. Re: Kempton ~ 04/07/07 6.20 Kempton - Macademy Royal Won on seasonal reappearance on polytrack over this distance under today's pilot defeating 3 subsequent winners. Had valid excuses for recent defeats (appeared unable to handle ground conditions/surface). Big chance at the weights on return to polytrack over optimum distance. Biggest danger may turn out to be Stoneacre Gareth with Frank Spencer on board.

  9. Re: Tuesday NAP's 4.00 Brighton: They All Laughed Consistent all weather performer who has found turf form recently on good to soft. Beaten favourite last time out although ground conditions are likely to blame and race has thrown up 2 subsequent winners. Back to ideal underfoot conditions today and has to have a chance against favourite Tibouchina who although on for hat-trick, has a penalty to contend with facing strongest opposition to date.

  10. Re: Uttoxeter 01/07 2.10 Moon Star Favourite Osprey View has handled these conditions on the flat, but hurdles form leaves a lot to be desired with cut underfoot. Therefore Moon Star, who handles these conditions, looks a value bet at around 3/1, due to good recent form against stronger looking opposition.

  11. Re: Sunday Naps Moon Star 2.10 Uttoxeter win nap (unsure if double points are available on this nap) Although favourite (Osprey View) has handled cut on the flat his hurdles form in these conditions are poor. Therefore, my preference is for Moon Star due to more solid looking recent form against stronger looking opposition and the fact he has a good level of form in these ground conditions. :hope

  12. Re: Market Rasen ~ 29/06/07 Vital Spark - 4.10 Market Rasen Fairly open race, although McCoys mount may take the beating. Only win came at this course (albeit different ground conditions) - has shown can handle cut though. Represents each way value at 9/1 (Ladbrokes/Totesport) imo

  13. Re: Fridays NAPS ~ 29/06/07 First time NAP, hope I am doing everything correctly. Mind How You Go - 3.40 Market Rasen Interesting back over hurdles especially with Mccoy booked for the ride. Goes best fresh. Ground conditions to suit. Lower rated now than when last competitive in hurdles races. WIN NAP

  14. Re: Quick System Hi Ralphie, I am a brand new user of punters lounge and have just found this thread. Rather than me looking through thousands and thousands of posts could you point me in the direction of your system rules to find out how it works (if in fact they are available). Some profit by the way - long may it continue!! Cheers C
