Well done to McG on a storming win in leg 2 (nearly an hour quicker than leg 1 ) and taking over at the top of the league table.
Several joining in that missed leg 1 and also a few missing who played leg 1, so there are lots of you with only 1 score at the moment making it important to get a score tonight in the PLO leg.  Game starts at 8.10pm and is open for registration now until 20 mins after the start.

Interesting game where everyone survived until the first break and then we all caved in before the second one.   Well done to Barry on the win and currently in 2nd spot in the league.   Last week's winner Elliott holds on to the lead despite being first out.
It's anyone's for the taking at the moment, leg 3 tonight is PLO, see if we can all storm through 5000 chips before 10pm!

Hello everyone! We are back for another season of the Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League! @Gazza's United is aiming to defend his title against all foes in what is set to be the most popular and competitive season yet!
Let's get stuck straight into it! We have an early doors leader in @eagle224 and his Strike for Maupay side. Their impressive 93 points haul is enough to take top spot for this opening week. Asides from the standard decision to select Erling Haaland as his captain he made the crazy horse decision to play his bench boost. This immediately paid off with his bench bringing home a total of 28 points. 
It's also great to see a few familiar faces already in the leading pack with the likes of @Team Sagga's Team Sagga, @u1905068's Amics d'Eric Djemba, and @jarvisla's Jarv's Juggernauts all starting the first week in the top 15. Can they keep in the mix?
Now we come to everyone's favourite time of the week. The Name of Shame! @nawoo, the great disgrace lands at your door this opening week! Just the 31 points gained. It didn't help that you had Gabriel Jesus and Christopher Nkunku injured. Still, it seems like a solid enough team so with a couple of tweaks I'm sure you'll be climbing up the table.
Interesting to see Haaland and Alexander Isak both scoring 2 goals this week. Manchester City host Newcastle this coming weekend. It's 7/1 with Bet365 for both players to score in that game... I do need to transfer Harry Kane out of my team this week and Isak certainly seems like a tempting choice!

Well done to Kev, a second win in the month and clear winner of the league for May.  Looks like it must have been carnage in the game with it not making it to the second break!
The other prize spots are claimed by our other 2 monthly leg winners, with Elliott picking up another podium position to claim 2nd overall, and Simon just holding off Ian for 3rd place.
Well done to the winners and thank you to everyone who played this month.  As it's a Bank Holiday week and also been a low turnout this month I think we'll just take a week off this week with the extra May Wednesday and restart in June.   I'll sort winners details out meanwhile.
