8:30 reg, no late reg, would be the better option, I think. This week I was providing childcare over in Pudsey so joined just before 8:30 and played the first 25 minutes in the car on my phone, while Mrs McG drove. Mind you, looking at a smaller screen, and wearing no spectacles, made for an interesting short session. I don’t think I intentionally join late, but I am conscious that my starting time has become later and later over the years, and we all know that Leo will join with a few minutes to go due to his other commitments.

Ian, don’t let the rounding fool you. I actually think it’s a tie on 266.9007 each, unless Helen’s figures go to more decimal places and decide on an actual winner.

Sorry about the connection problems this evening. Decided to try to incur the displeasure of Mrs McG and play from Florence, and all was going fine when I was walking along the bank of the River Arno, then partaking of wine at a lovely bar. However, when I got back to the hotel to complete the game, I was unable to reconnect fully. Tried all sorts, but with no success - apologies for being a hindrance.

Cheers Ian I also agree with your figures, with me on about 240, and a tie for 2nd on about 177.3 - seems like a clear win, but it felt nothing like it. Very close going in to last night, and when Rhino was out in 5th, I expected Barry to go on and win, but I caught cards at the right time and was chuffed to get my first league win of the year. Just shows that you can still win even if you start with a couple of duff scores.

Who is magataa? Good to see a new person at the table.

Having seen off xc0u7’s AA with my AJ, I was gobsmacked that I couldn’t repeat the feat with AQ v Raveon’s AA later on. What is this poker world coming to? Another good game with respectful banter - see you all next week.
