@kevsul you need to reregister as I cancelled the one you had pre-regd for.
I am still trying to resolve last week's payout error, but sadly I've not yet had a response.

When there were 6 players left only 3 responded to my request to pay top 3. I don't think you can assume that if someone didn't object then they must have agreed.

The game was set up as winner takes all. A few of us were prepared to do the normal 3 way split, but not everyone in the chat responded, so I assume it stayed that way. Helen, could you check to see if the rest of the month's games are set up with a normal payout structure?

We're not talking about life-changing money here, and this isn't the WSOP. For the record, had I finished first, I would have transferred payments to the other three within the hour. The PL isn't just some random online poker club full of strangers, we're all friends here 

I was under the impression we all agreed to 3 places paid and whilst some didn’t respond in the chat I would be surprised if this wasn’t honoured as nobody expressed an issue with this.  Nearly everyone would have registered to this tournament expecting for it to pay out that way too….

Oh heck, so sorry. I didn't get home til 9pm so didn't even load it up to watch.  I agree with what Andy says, all regulars playing so you would be expecting a normal payout.  (With 16 in I think it should have technically have paid 4 places.) I have means of contacting Jason @Rivrd if necessary but he should be able to do a PokerStars transfer.
Just checked, Leg 2 last month had 16 and paid $36/$24/$12/$8.

Games are set up for the month, we start with leg 1 tonight at 8.10pm, which is open now for registration. 

The Punters Lounge £150 added Poker League continues straight on for February and I look forward to keeping up the momentum of our great start this year.  We run for the next 4 weeks on Wednesday nights.
The £150 added by Punters Lounge is shared between the top 3 in the league at the end of the month. Games start at 8.10pm, with a 20min late registration period on top of this.  All games are played in the PokerStars Home Games PL Poker Club. 
The format is a NLHE 3000 chip tourney in Legs 1 & 2 and a 5000 chip NLHE for final leg.   Leg 3 is our PLO Leg with 5000 chips.

Buy in is $5.50 per leg.
Your top 3 scores of the 4 legs will count towards your league total. We will be using the usual PL poker league format, which will be updated in this thread. (The PokerStars own league scores will not be used.) Formula is -Log(position/Entrants)x100
To help boost numbers overall and in particular in the final leg we are continuing the system of doubling the number of entries used in the calculation in leg 4 (**so if 10 entries the formula will use 20 entrants). This will increase the number of points available in the final leg to make it more competitive.
All members are welcome, however you must post in this thread if asked to let us know your forum username, otherwise your placings and scores cannot be included in the league.  New players are always welcome to join in, so please spread the word and invite your friends to the forum so we can keep the weekly numbers up and remain viable.

The £150 added will be split between the top 3 players of the league end, with £75 to the league champion, £45 to 2nd and £30 to 3rd.  This will be payable via PayPal at the end of the league.  Big thank you to Punters Lounge for the added funds.

I didn't actually think this would apply all the way down to my lowly 12th position  
 
Quite an unusual month where only 1 of the top 3 is a weekly winner (me!).   Leo keeps his hold on champions spot with two 2nd place finishes in the month, I bag 2nd with a win, a last and two mid place finishes, and Rav takes 3rd spot with a 2nd and 3rd place finish in the month.  A real mixed bag of results for most of us over the month, which at least means 11 of us won something of the weekly prize pools.   Added Value results below, I'll send winners details off, but may take a while to drop into your account.

Magnificent turn out for January and great to see some old faces returning, thank you to everyone who has supported the league this month.

Mainly play, Sky,Unibet, Paddy. Sky has very short timer and no time banks & 6max tables and small fields, which I prefer, Unibet lot 6 tables, preference is Paddy as can use HUD and has auto timebank, Paddy has bigger fields then Sky & Unibet. Sky software is pants though :))
Also play Party ,Stars, GG, ACR, 888, Coinpoker a bit as well. Stars best software still. 
PC gets a bit grumpy when I have 6+ sites open though :)) 

I was disappointed in Chris Moorman's book....not least because he didn't call it "The Book of Moorman"....It was him commenting on another guy's hands, rather than revealing his strategy.
I recently reread the Gus Hansen, Every Hand Revealed, and it's still relevant. I thought it might have dated, but it's still good.
The only autobiography I've read is Devilfish, which I enjoyed immensely, but it made me realise that I could never be a top poker player.

I have Moorman's Book Of Poker by Chris Moorman, very good.
Every Hand Revealed by Gus Hansen, again very good.
For Richer For Poorer by Victoria Coren, not particularly a strategy book but an excellent read nevertheless.
The Mental Game of Poker by Jared Tendler, which I assume everyone has either read or heard about
I've also read quite a few autobiographies by poker players, the most memorable being by Mike Matusow.
Watching/following this thread with interest 

As I mentioned the other week, all of Dara's books are great, I have them all.
I love mental game of poker, I have 1 &2, prefer 1.
The 100 Biggest Mistakes That Poker Players Make by Alex Fitzgerald is something I really enjoyed too, I got that on audiobook.
 
 

I'm always on the look out for new titles, so I wondered if anyone has got any recommendations?
I've just finished Endgame Poker Strategy by Dara O'Kearney, and thought it was pretty good.
My all time favourite poker book is Exploitative Play in Live Poker by Alex Fitzgerald. It's an easy read and helped me a lot.
For beginners I still think Harrington on Hold Em is the place to start. It's a bit outdated, but a great introduction to the game.
