Anyone else noticed De Boinville at Wincanton for just one ride for Henderson Monte Cristo (one for Symonds 33/1 outsider)?
Petrol at 150p a litre, I am sure the economics of travel play a big part in where to ride. Still thanks for the tilip. Ill take a look.

Excellent help for me. I am no longer a proffesional gambler. Enke at 66-1 triggered my retirement. I have watched a bit more on TV and what shocked me was the various types of "Soft Ground". Each course has a unique version. But whatever the horses struggles, those trained by Venetia Willuams seem to plough on happily.

I have just checked. 1st Pat Cosgrave, 2nd William Buick, 3rd Frankie Dettori.
I assure you my rosette award was given without knowledge of the jockeys names

In a race a jockey is only as good as his horse within small margins. +-2 two lengths is the established range from best to worst.
I watched the Meydan 2.30 a Golophin 1-2-3.
My rosette goes to the jockey on the 3rd horse. The 1st and 2nd were also excellent as were all the jockeys but the ,3rd gets my award. Often its the jockey on the last horse!

Which Jockey rode the best race?
I look down the field and watch jockeys giving the last horse a magnificent ride. Isnt it easier to be in the winner?
The three Godolphin Jockeys on the 2.30 Meydan 1-2-3 all rode beautifully but I give my rosette to the third. The Jockey on HOME CITY. I have no idea who he was but he gets my vote

I have not even got close to working out the Newcastle track so your advice is respected. When a professional I walked every track before ever having a bet and tried to think like a horse. Despite the best efforts of ATR cameras, I am still clueless about thr new all weather course. Vespasian? Ok I ll give it a look
