Could say £50, could say £5000, obviously we have no idea if these bets are being placed in reality or, if so, what the actual stake is. My advice to anyone would be don't follow any of the selections (yet, at least) and certainly don't follow with that sort of liability. No offense, same true of unproven tips from any new poster.
You don't need to tell us that on here, you're into egg-sucking Grandma territory.
My question is, are you going to keep a running record of the performance of these bets? Winning and losing lays and the profit/loss? If not, I can't see the point of a dedicated thread, you might as well just post in the daily thread where everyone else posts their bets for the day. Laying or backing it's just an opinion on the race and a dedicated thread serves no purpose unless the returns are being tracked (especially given the claim in the thread title).

Just back the favourite!? That's all? No pro tips or any other tips?  What does 'short price' mean? As said in my post, unfortunately the PP Money Back if 2nd or 3rd race have 8 or more runners. I never seen less than 8...
Don't you have some tips that will enable me to win almost every time or most of the time? If I back the favourite for every race, I will be winning and losing 50/50 or more/less

I don't think you can say that race was a total waste of money any more than you could say St Marks Basilica winning a 4 runner Eclipse or Pebbles beating Rainbow Quest in 1985 in a 4 runner Eclipse were. Paddington and Emily Upjohn are both absolutely top class and owners of lesser horses would rather run their horses at a slightly lower level than breaking their hearts taking them on.

I thought my 50/1 winner would guarantee me the daily prize but it was not to be as 2 of you, @HERE and @roy keane,  somehow found the 150/1 winner of the first. Very well done.
I was tempted to disqualify @roy keane for using 2,30 instead of 2.30 but thought that might be a bit churlish !
It looks like the rest of us are fighting for 3rd place
