I was a bit premature with my excitement after the first frame century from Hendry, he'll be disappointed to be 7-2 down. I thought James might have been feeling a bit of pressure to beat uncle Stephen - the Tart sisters will be celebrating around 8pm tonight🥂

Cahill's body language is very negative at the moment, almost wishing I had a bet on Hendry now though surely he can't win can he?

What a start for Hendry, century number 777 I think with a 102 break including a couple of amazing doubles (he's always saying how useless he is at them!) It might be an interesting match and a decent crowd watching him and Ken on the adjacent table.

Yeah Matthew should see him off. Mink was going well when she hit the 73 then a century, thought she had turned the match at that point but she couldn't keep it up sadly.

What a shame it didn't go 8-8, might have got interesting then but Poom ought to win it from 9-7 up I reckon.

I thought they used to have the same ref for the whole match but I see the ladyboy ref is in charge tonight which is quite appropriate for a match between two Thais!

Yeah, I was watching it on Matchroom live too, surprised they're on table one but I guess looking at the other players on show it's probably the right choice. Poomjang took the longest toilet break after losing the first frame, well over 5 minutes, the ref had words with him when he returned! In fact it's surprising the refs don't go out for toilet breaks more often as a lot of them are quite old and as we know age affects your bladder retention! Certainly was worth a touch at 2-2 but after that Poom got it together and ended up with a deserved 6-2 lead going into tonight's final session. I quite like watching Mink as she has a cute face:-)

Looking ahead to the Crucible we might have a 1/4 final line-up of Ronnie/Mark, Judd/Shaun, Allen/Robbo, Kyren/Selby barring any upsets of course:-)

I think we all want Jimmy to do well so here's hoping! Interesting grudge match for Hendry vs his ex-nephew whom he selfishly refused to help when he was starting out in the game, I reckon Cahill should win easily as Stephen's just not got what it takes these days to compete. Marco Fu has played terribly today and looks like getting dumped out quite soon. Best of luck with those selections.

Good strong finish for Murph, the Worlds are shaping up to be interesting this year as the usual suspects have shown very little form so far in 2023 so you may be sitting pretty if you got on him and Wilson early doors.

Not a bad final so far, I thought Murphy was gone at the interval! 4-4 is a bonus as he would have delighted to take 3-5 I'm sure. It's 50/50 tonight and luck may well decide the outcome.

Great match from 6-9 down, only 2 tons but surely Kyren will bag it tomorrow as he's had a day off and Shaun must be pooped!

They'll have to go some for the centuries bet to come in but all is not lost yet as there could be another 6 or 7 frames in this match.

Wilson/Murphy would be my choice for Sunday too, at least a 50/50 chance of getting it I reckon.

Kyren is playing like a man possessed! His son's illness seems to have focused him even more and he surely wins tonight, Ding did well to nick two frames this afternoon.

Props to Ryan for making it close-ish in the end and the 16 red clearance was a nice touch! Shame he screwed back into the middle pocket off the pink or he would have won that frame too. Tomorrow's match should be close as they are both playing well, I slightly favour Ding but don't have a stake in whoever wins.

Holy smokes, what price was a 147 in this match or more specifically Ryan Day to make one! 50/1 at least if there was a market for it!
