    Portugal vs Germany
The second match in the next round of Group F games is the epic clash between reigning champions Portugal and an unfancied Germany in a 5pm BST kick-off at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Can the winners of the last European Championship inflict more concern onto their hosts who suffered a narrow defeat in their opening game against the reigning world champions?
Portugal looked like they might suffer a disappointing draw against Hungary in their opening group game but three goals in the final 6 minutes gave A Selecao a flattering 3-0 win. Two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo were added to by Raphael Guerreiro to ensure Fernando Santos guided his team to a perfect start to their trophy defence. Ronaldo became the top scorer in European Championship history with those 2 goals taking his total tally in the tournament to 11 goals. It's now just 2 defeats in the last 30 matches in all competitions for Portugal. It's also been back-to-back clean sheets for Portugal.
Germany face an uphill battle to reach the last 16 having lost their opening game to world champions France. Joachim Low's side were arguably second best for most of the game but they were facing a team at the peak of their powers so it was hard to judge this German side at face value. Tournament form doesn't make for pleasing reading for Germany fans with their nation having lost 3 of their last 4 group games at major tournaments. They have also not suffered back-to-back group stage defeats at a major tournament since losing to Portugal and England back at the 2000 European Championship.
It's positive news for Germany supporters heading into this one because their country have won the last four meetings against Portugal with all four of those coming at major tournaments (2006 World Cup, 2008 European Championship, 2012 European Championship, and 2014 World Cup). The pressure is very much on the home team here who need a win to relieve the pressure to avoid missing out on the last 16. The way the groups are setting up, 3 points in 3rd may very well not be enough to get through so avoiding defeat here is crucial. Will they want to get the win to ensure the final clash against Hungary isn't all or nothing? I was looking to back the draw but I think Germany could win this on home turf.

    Hungary vs France
The second round of Group F games get underway at the 2020 European Championship on Saturday with the 2pm BST kick-off seeing underdogs Hungary aiming to keep their last 16 qualification hopes alive against pre-tournament favourites France at the Puskas Arena in Budapest. Will we see one of the great international upsets or is the end nigh for one of the host nations?
Hungary had put in a sterling display in their 3-0 loss to Portugal in their opening game. It was a result that didn't fairly reflect the balance of the game that was 0-0 until the last 6 minutes. Head coach Marco Rossi will be disappointed that his team couldn't snatch an unlikely win and he'll also be gutted that his team's goal difference suffered such a pounding which is certain to all but confirm their elimination if they lose here. That loss to Portugal brought Hungary's 11-game unbeaten run to an end. It's now 4 games without a win at a European Championship for the Magyars too.
France looked every bit worthy of their favourites tag when they defeated bitter rivals Germany by a 1-0 score-line in their opening game thanks to a Mats Hummels own goal in the 20th minute. It could and should have been victory by a wider margin but VAR ruled that offside prevented France adding to their tally. It's now 5 wins in a row in all competitions for France. Each of those wins have been earned with clean sheets and they last kept six consecutive clean sheets under head coach Raymond Domenech back in 2007. Current head coach Didier Deschamps may well be concerned that Karim Benzema has had 28 shots but failed to register a goal at this tournament so far. Could he give Olivier Giroud a chance to impress?
These two sides have met twice previously at international tournaments and it's been France that prevailed victorious on both occasions in the group stages of the 1978 and 1986 World Cups. They have also won their last 5 encounters with Hungary. However, France have only won 1 of their last 8 games on Hungarian territory. I fully expect France to be tested and Hungary showed against Portugal that they shouldn't be under-estimated. I just think France possess too much quality and could sneak a narrow win.

    Spain vs Poland
The final preview of this second round of group matches at the 2020 European Championship sees us return to Group E for this 8pm BST kick-off between Spain and Poland at La Cartuja in Seville. Both teams failed to register victories in their opening group games even though it can be argued that both sides were favourites to win heading into those matches. The pressure is now on for both of them to get those first 3 points here.
Spain enjoyed a staggering 85% possession in their 0-0 draw with Sweden. Head coach Luis Enrique will just have been delighted to field a reasonably strong side given the chaos a covid-19 outbreak has caused within the squad just days before the tournament started. It was a difficult one to judge in their first game with their undoubted dominance showing they remain a team to be wary of in this competition but their profligacy in front of goal and the occasional defensive fragility showed exactly why they have so many doubters. If Spain fail to win this game then it'll be the first time since the 1996 European Championship that they have failed to do so. Failure to score in 2 of their last 3 matches is a concern. Alvaro Morata has also failed to score in his last 4 appearances for his country.
Poland are still licking their wounds after that shock 2-1 loss against Slovakia. Yes, they did go down to 10-men when Grzegorz Krychowiak was sent off but it was still a result that they didn't see coming. Head coach Paulo Sousa knows that with Sweden coming up in their final group game they'll want to try to get a win here to give themselves a realistic chance of qualifying for the last 16. Unfortunately, history isn't on their side with Poland managing just 2 wins from their 12 matches played at a European Championship. In Robert Lewandowski, Poland boast one of the most clinical finishers in world football but the striker just doesn't have the same prowess at major tournament for his country only scoring 2 of his 35 shots.
On face value, it seems like this is a game for Spain to win. Despite their failure to score against Sweden they put in a commanding passing display breaking all sorts of records. Poland didn't quite look up to their best against Slovakia and I feel they're in danger of letting this tournament pass them by. I'm backing a narrow Spain win because even though they should dominate play there are still question marks on their final third clinical edge.

    Portugal vs Germany
It seemed that they wouldn’t make it, but a quickfire in the last ten minutes of the game saw Portugal beating Hungary 3:0. Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace made him the most efficient player in the history of the European Championships. This time, the opposition is much more challenging, and Seleção needs a more confident display here. Fernando Santos’s side is on an excellent run as they haven’t lost seven times in a row. During that period, Portugal failed to win only twice. They have also been pretty disciplined in the back, and Portugal managed to keep three consecutive clean sheets. The visitors look forward to another confident performance which can bring them valuable points.
Germany faced France in their campaign opener but failed to a narrow 1:0 defeat due to Matts Hummels own goal. They now need to chase a win here in order not to finish participation in another major tournament in the group stage. Joachim Low’s side is not as convincing as it was a couple of years ago, and Germany needs to improve to challenge the title. Their defensive problems are the particular highlight, as Elf has been conceding a lot. Germany couldn’t keep the clean sheet in their previous four games, and they couldn’t keep their net intact even against Latvia. If they don’t pick up at least a point from this one, Germany will find themselves in severe trouble.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
Portugal is full of confidence after a positive start of the campaign, while Germany’s locker room atmosphere doesn’t seem to be good. We believe the defending champions are severely underestimated by the bookies and think Portugal won’t lose this one.
    Goals Market Prediction
Germany needs to go towards the opposition’s goal from the very start, which can open some space for the visitors to hit back. Since the home side is leaky in the back, we could expect to see goals in both nets this time.

    Hungary vs France
Although they were very close to snatching a point against the defending European champions, Hungary suffered a 3:0 defeat against Portugal. The hosts were brave but were not awarded for their efforts. They are in a tough group, though, and it would be surprising if Hungary manages to get through the group stage. Nemanja Nikolics and the lads failed to score two matches in a row, and they now face a very challenging opponent. Marco Rossi’s side enjoyed an excellent streak ahead of EURO 2020, but it ended at the start of the tournament. However, Hungary won’t give up as they want to fight bravely in front of their fans.
France made a huge step towards the knockout stage from the “Group of Death” as they managed to beat Germany 1:0. They could have scored more, but Didier Deschamps’s side wasn’t unhappy with this outcome at all. France is among the hottest favorites to win EURO 2020, and they want to keep up in the same fashion. Les Bleus enjoy a streak of five victories without conceding. They are rock-solid in the back, while Kylian Mbappe is the major threat for the oppositions’ goalkeepers. France has the chance to finish the job in the group stage, and they will search for all three points from this match.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
France is a firm favorite, and it would be a great surprise if they fail to win this game. Of course, the odds on the away win are not too generous, but we will go for the Asian Handicap to get a better price. We believe France should celebrate a victory by two goals at least.
    Goals Market Prediction
Although Hungary can be pretty dangerous in the front, the visitors have been unbeatable in the back lately. We think France could provide another defensively solid performance and keep their net intact.

    Spain vs Poland
Although they dominated the game against Sweden, the hosts failed to pick up all three points. As a result, the game ended in a goalless draw, and La Furia Roja needs to search for a win in this one. Luis Enrique’s side hasn’t lost nine times in a row, but they were involved in many draws during that period. Nevertheless, Diego Llorente and the lads stabilized their backline as they managed to keep the clean sheet on the previous three occasions. However, Spain should start converting their chances into goals, as they failed to score two times in the last three matches. The home side can get very close to the top two if they celebrate a victory in this game.
Poland didn’t enjoy a positive start to the campaign, as they lost to Slovakia 2:1. Although they managed to equalize and were on the verge of turning things around, Grzegorz Krychowiak was sent off, which ruined their chances. Paulo Sousa’s side hasn’t tasted a win in the last four games, while their defensive work is quite concerning. Orly kept just one clean sheet on the previous eight occasions, which had a massive impact on their record. On the other hand, Robert Lewandowski doesn’t have enough support from his teammates and is not as dangerous for the oppositions’ goalkeepers as in Bayern Munich. A very tough task is ahead of Poland, but they won’t give up.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
Spain shouldn’t let themselves mess up again, as they are firm favorites in this clash. We believe they will meet the expectations and also secure a halftime advantage.
    Goals Market Prediction
Spain has tremendous attacking potential, while Poland hasn’t defended their goal very well recently. The visitors have been involved in many high-scoring matches lately, and we believe we can see at least three goals in this one.

    Sweden vs Slovakia
Blågult’s winning streak came to an end in their EURO 2020 opening match, but they won’t be too upset about it. Sweden managed to snatch a point against Spain and significantly increased their chances of going further. Janne Andersson’s side got what it came for and earned a goalless draw against one of the title contenders. Although they were pretty inferior, Sweden managed to neutralize the majority of La Furia Roja’s attacks. Mikael Lustig and the lads managed to keep their fifth clean sheet in the last six games, and Sweden looks very tight in the back. Nevertheless, those opponents were not among the top ones, this record can only provide a boost of confidence. Sweden wants to get back on the winning track and come very close to the knockout stage spot.
Slovakia also had an excellent start to the campaign, as they celebrated a vital 2:1 victory over Poland. However, despite having a half-time lead, Stefan Tarkovic’s side severely hanged over the cliff after Poland equalized. Nevertheless, when it seemed they won’t make it, Slovakia got generous help from their rivals and an extra player on the pitch. Marek Hamsik and the lads haven’t tasted a defeat on the previous six occasions, but they celebrated just twice during that period. Another three points could definitely seal their place in the knockout stage.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
It is going to be a tight clash that can go either way. However, we think Sweden is a slight favorite, and they could celebrate their first victory in EURO 2020. Sweden has also been more successful in their head-to-head clashes in this millennium.
    Goals Market Prediction
Sweden has been pretty tight in the back recently, and they are looking forward to another disciplined performance. Slovakia had a lot of luck in the premier clash, and we believe this one will remain under a 2.5 margin.

    Denmark vs Belgium
The hosts had a stressful start to the campaign, and nothing went well for Denmark. Of course, Christian Eriksen’s health problems disrupted the whole football world, and hopefully, he will get well. The game continued after a long break, but Kasper Hjulmand’s side failed to a narrow 1:0 defeat against Finland. Denmark definitely has the quality for the knockout stage spot, but they need to step up and start winning. They enjoyed a streak of five matches without losing and failed to celebrate just once during that period. However, the clash against Belgium will be their toughest test, as they lost twice against this rival in 2020.
Belgium is about to play on the away ground for the second time in this tournament, but the first clash wasn’t a problem for them. The Red Devils celebrated a convincing 3:0 victory against Russia and excellently opened the campaign. Roberto Martinez’s side looked dominant in that game, and they didn’t leave any space for a surprise. Romelu Lukaku managed to keep up where he left off by scoring a brace. The top-ranked team on the FIFA World Rankings is one of the major favorites for winning EURO 2020, and they want to keep up in the same fashion. If they manage to celebrate in this game, Belgium will secure the top spot in their group.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
It is going to be an exciting game as Denmark is not without a chance. However, Belgium will have Axel Witsel and Eden Hazard back in the team and have more depth. Therefore, we believe the Red Devils will book another victory, and the odds are pretty attractive.
    Goals Market Prediction
Denmark should try to attack the opponent from the very start, as they don’t have space for waiting too much. Finland vs Russia
Suomi created the biggest surprise so far in the tournament by beating Denmark 1:0. However, that game was in the shadow of Christian Eriksen’s health problems, and it needed to be interrupted. Luckily, we haven’t witnessed the worst scenario, and hopefully, the Danish star will get well. Although Finland was in a defensive mode throughout the entire match, they managed to snatch vital three points. Markku Kanerva’s side was very disciplined, hoping that they can keep up at the same pace. That victory got them fighting for the knockout stage, which would be an excellent success for Teemu Pukki and the lads. If they get something from this one, Finland could make their dreams come true.
Russia had a disappointing start to the campaign, as they easily lost 3:0 against Belgium. Although they had a couple of good chances, the hosts were not even close to remaining undefeated. Stanislav Cherchesov’s side needs to be sharper in the final third, while the defense would also need an improvement. Sbornaya don’t want to end their campaign in the group stage, and the next two games are critical for them. Artem Dzyba and the lads failed to score for the first time in the last six games, and they want to get back on the scoring track. Russia needs to go for a win in this one to get back into the game for the eight-finals.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
Russia hasn’t been so impressive, but they are still favorites in front of the home fans. Although Finland could be a tricky opponent, we believe the hosts will meet the expectations and deliver a victory.
    Goals Market Prediction
Finland has been involved in pretty tight matches lately, and they won’t give up on their defensive style. Since Russia hasn’t been too productive as well, we believe this game will remain under a 2.5 margin.

    Ukraine vs North Macedonia
Zbirna was brave in the opening match against the Netherlands, but eventually, they left with empty pockets. Although Andriy Shevchenko’s side trailed 2:0, they managed to equalize thanks to Andriy Yarmolenko’s brace. However, Oranje snatched all three points thanks to a late winner. That defeat ended Ukraine’s six-match unbeaten run, and they conceded after keeping the clean sheet twice. Despite this loss, Ukraine showed that they shouldn’t be written off from the battle for the knockout stage. This game is crucial for them, as Zbirna could fight for the top-two finish in the closing round of the group stage.
North Macedonia made Austria struggling in their first-ever EURO game, but they eventually failed to a 3:1 defeat. They had a point in their pockets 15 minutes from the final whistle but couldn’t make it ‘till the end. Igor Angelovski’s side lost after four straight games without a defeat, and they want to get back on the winning track. However, they need a defensively solid performance to keep their dreams of progressing further alive. On the other hand, Goran Pandev and the lads should continue being clinical in front of the oppositions’ net. With potential three points from this game, North Macedonia could hope for providing the biggest surprise in this tournament.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
North Macedonia proved that they could be pretty tough to beat and won’t surrender without a fight. However, we believe Ukraine will meet the expectations and book all three points from this game.

    Netherlands vs Austria
The home side opened the EURO 2020 campaign with a victory after a thrilling game against Ukraine. After the goalless first half, we saw fireworks in the second. Oranje had a 2:0 advantage, but Zbirna got back into the game. Eventually, the Netherlands celebrated a 3:2 victory thanks to a late winner. Although the hosts always aim high on the major tournaments, they need to become more consistent if they want to challenge the trophy. Frank de Boer is often criticized for his game style, but it has worked decently lately. The Netherlands missed the chance to win only once on the previous five occasions while losing just once in the last 11 matches. Memphis Depay and the lads want to keep up where they left off and secure a place in the knockout stage.
Austria struggled against North Macedonia, but they eventually picked up all three points. That victory ended their three-game winless streak and provided a vital boost of confidence. Franco Foda’s side got in an excellent position to qualify for the next stage, but they need to raise their game level. More challenging opponents are ahead of them, and this game will be a stern test for David Alaba and the lads. Austria has a talented but yet experienced squad that can go far in the competition. Yeah, football is a bitch isn't it!
Apart from tonight because I am loving life! Great to see Robert Page actually do what us Welsh fans wanted and take the fight to Turkey with a fearless attitude. It shows just how dangerous we can be when we set up to attack. Every player to the man was outstanding and, let's be honest, 2-0 flattered Turkey. I don't even think Turkey were that bad. We were just on a mission tonight and I loved the fact that Aaron Ramsey went into proper beast mode. I stand by what I have said for so long. Ramsey remains our most important player. Even more so than Gareth Bale. Prepare to see both us and Italy make substantial changes for the last game but we're going to need to change our entire system if Kieffer Moore is rested so think we could struggle if we shift to the 3-5-2 with a false nine.

    Turkey vs Wales
The second round of Group A matches get underway on Wednesday in the 2020 European Championship with a crucial clash between Turkey and Wales taking place at 5pm BST from the Olympic Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan. This will essentially be a home game for the Turkish side as 30,000 Azeri and Turkish nationals are set to pack the stands compared to just 400 Welshman. Rourke's Drift anyone?! Altogether now.  Men of Harlech, on to the glory!
Turkey were deemed by many, including myself, to be dark horses in this group. The performance against Italy in Rome was disappointing but probably not unsurprising given how solid Italy are right now. Head coach Senol Gunes witnessed his team have just three shots on the Italian goal with none of those hitting the target in that 3-0 opening game defeat. The Crescent Stars are not unfamiliar with losing their opening game at a major tournament though having done so at all of their 7 appearances so far. This is the youngest side at the European Championship though with an average age of just 24 years and 352 days so how will they react to that opening game lashing? It will also be interesting to see if they can harness the energy of the passionate support they will get from the fans or if it will increase the pressure on them. It's already a game that Gunes has labelled a "must-win" for his team.
Wales know that realistically they need to win this game but the vital point earned in the 1-1 draw with Switzerland on the weekend after Kieffer Moore's superbly headed equaliser gives them hope even if they suffer defeat. It'll make life extremely difficult with a win needed against Italy in the final group game but it takes a bit of the pressure off getting all 3 points in this one. Still, if we're being realistic, 2 points is unlikely to be enough to qualify for the last 16. Head coach Robert Page raised some eyebrows with the decision to start Chris Mepham at centre back and leave Ethan Ampadu on the bench. At least he avoided playing the false nine that had been underwhelming in our pre-tournament friendlies. Starting Moore paid off but it still felt like a few players were nervous. We didn't see the full potential of the likes of Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, or Daniel James. Credit to Switzerland for shutting the game down and that's why they are a top 15 ranked side in the world and have been for some time. It was a game that was there for the taking if Wales were better though so we're pleased with the point but disappointed we didn't play better. This game presents that opportunity. Bale has now failed to score in his past 12 games for Wales so it's been a long time coming.
I'm nervous about this one. Opinions amongst Wales fans is very mixed. Some feel Turkey will be a bit of a wounded animal looking to bounce back in front of strong support. Others feel no matter what performance Turkey put in it all depends on what Wales performance we see. I probably agree with that. When we went at Switzerland they struggled. We have such a great attacking line but we seemed to lack the self belief and confidence to use it in the last game. If we sit back and look to counter we'll invite trouble. If we go for Turkey like Italy did then we have the talent to cause them problems. I just think Page will be too cautious and it'll see us get a draw at best. That's me being optimistic as well.

    Italy vs Switzerland
The second game in Group A being played on Wednesday is the 8pm BST kick-off between an impressive Italy and a potential banana skin opponent in Switzerland at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. This is a big chance for one of the host nations to seal their spot in the last 16 but they face an opponent who have the ability to cause them problems if they're not at their best.
Italy left a lot of people in awe in the opening game of the tournament with the dominant 3-0 win over Turkey. Goals from Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne were added to an own goal by Turkey defender Merih Demiral. It showed exactly why the Italians are being backed to win this tournament with Roberto Mancini's men now on an unbeaten run of 28 matches. The Azzurri have now kept a clean sheet in each of their last 9 games which shows what a defensive force they have become again. That last ditch block by the experienced Giorgio Chiellini in the Turkey game late is evidence of the commitment and passion still present within the team. One interesting statistic is that Immobile has scored 92 goals in 118 appearances at this stadium. You wouldn't bet against him adding to that tally here.
Switzerland were a team I felt could struggle with a lot of their "golden generation" coming to the end of their careers now. I have to say that even though I felt Wales were lucky to peg the Swiss back to a 1-1 draw after Breel Embolo's opening goal I still felt that they weren't overly impressive. It was a game that was there for the taking for Wales. There is no denying that this Switzerland team has the experience to manage games effectively. That was clear against Wales. Can they compete with a team in form like Italy though? They have now drawn all of their previous 4 games at a European Championship. I have a feeling that run could come to an end here.
I have picked out Italy as the team to watch since before the tournament started and I'm glad they have shown exactly why I thought that. Along with France, they have been the stand out performers so far but are they at risk of peaking too early? I think they will build on that opening game win and even though they might not carve Switzerland open as easily as they did Turkey I think they should get another clean sheet win.

As a Welshman, I've seen it time and time again where we've turned up in our droves to support the team and the pressure of the home crowd has got to the players. I'm counting on that happening for Turkey today. I do think there's slightly more pressure on Wales because if we lose then we have to get a result against Italy but if Turkey lose they can still try to get a win against Switzerland. It's going to be a tough one for Wales though. Harder than the Switzerland game but we were so far off it in that opening game. I'm expecting both ourselves and Turkey to put in improved displays. If either side doesn't then they'll lose.

    Italy vs Switzerland
Azzurri had an excellent start into the tournament as they celebrated a 3:0 victory over Turkey. Roberto Mancini’s side looked confident, and they easily beat a tricky opponent. Gianluigi Donnarumma booked another clean sheet, his ninth in a row, and Italy seems unbeatable in the back. On the other hand, Ciro Immobile and the lads have been on fire lately, producing 14 goals on the previous three occasions. Italy is full of confidence, and they hope for a successful campaign. They became much more disciplined after Roberto Mancini took over the bench, and Azzurri enjoy a remarkable streak. A victory could seal the knockout stage for them, but they shouldn’t get complacent as Switzerland is not an easy opponent.
Switzerland made rue to their chances and earned just a draw against Wales. Breel Embolo and the lads got punished for their misses and don’t have the right for more mistakes anymore. However, they face in-form Italy, and Vladimir Petkovic’s side needs to step up and fight for vital points. A draw against the Dragons broke their winning streak that counted six games. Still, Switzerland hasn’t tasted a defeat on the previous eight occasions. Although their defense hasn’t been too tight, their forwards did well in the final third. The visitors want to continue their unbeatable run and fix their errors from the previous match. However, that is not going to be an easy task.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
Italy has been struggling with Switzerland in their latest head-to-head games between 2006 and 2010. These two sides drew three times in a row, but those were friendlies. Although Switzerland could make an upset, Azzurri are full of confidence, and they should celebrate again at the home ground.
    Goals Market Prediction
Italy has been perfect in the back recently, but Switzerland scored at least a goal in their last ten matches. They failed to find the back of the net only against Spain since October 2019. Italy could concede in this one, and we believe both sides should score in this encounter.

    Turkey vs Wales
Senol Gunes’s side had an abysmal display in the EURO 2020 opener, as they suffered a 3:0 defeat against Italy. Turkey didn’t manage to threaten Azzurri, who easily claimed their first victory. Burak Yilmaz and the lads now need to go for a win in this one, but they should change their approach to the game. Turkey’s defensive mentality failed in Rome, and they don’t have time to waste in this one, as they desperately need all three points. The defeat against Italy was their first without losing, and they want to get back on the winning track. However, they need to put a much better display of they want to pick up something from this game.
Wales worked hard to earn a 1:1 draw against Switzerland, although it seemed they might lose heavily. However, their rivals wasted too many opportunities, and the Dragons knew how to punish that and pick up a vital point. This might be a crucial match for Gareth Bale and the lads, as they could get very close to the knockout stage if they win. Rob Page’s side hasn’t won three times in a row, though, scoring just once during that period. Wales should push hard to get some points from this encounter as well, as they will face Italy in the latest round.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
It is going to be a tight clash, as both sides could remain in the game for the knockout stage in case of a win. However, we believe this one might end in a draw, and these two sides should split points.
    Goals Market Prediction
Turkey doesn’t seem to be in positive momentum, while Wales should try to provide another disciplined performance. We shouldn’t expect to see more than two goals in total in this clash.

    France vs Germany
Undoubtedly, the biggest game of the group stage at the 2020 European Championship is the clash on Tuesday night at 8pm BST between France and Germany in Group F at the Allianz Arena in Munich. This group is called the "Group of Death" for this very reason that the reigning world champions are taking on one of their biggest rivals for the trophy this time around. Who will come out on top?
France are the favourites to win this tournament with a lot of people and for very good reason. You look at the quality throughout their team and it's unreal. Hugo Lloris in goal, a defence that boasts the likes of Raphael Varane and Presnel Kimpembe, a midfield consisting of Paul Pogba and N'golo Kante, and a front-line that includes Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann, and Karim Benzema. Wow. Head coach Didier Deschamps has already won the World Cup both as a manager and a player and the European Championship as a player. You look at their whole set-up and you wonder if anyone can stop them? However, results suggest they are susceptible to an upset. Yes, they have won their last 5 games with clean sheets but in the past year or so they've also failed to beat Ukraine, Finland, and Portugal.
Germany have already been written off by a number of pundits. Again, you can understand why. It feels like this German squad is coming to the end of an era with Joachim Low set to depart his role after this tournament and a number of players coming to the twilight of their international careers such as Thomas Muller, Manuel Neuer, Mats Hummels, and Toni Kroos. There is still the talent here as experience blends with youth to make me feel that we shouldn't rule them out. Serge Gnabry has bagged 16 goals in 22 international appearances and in players like Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, and Joshua Kimmich they have quality throughout. Results have been inconsistent lately and that's a worry. The standout one being the 2-1 loss at home to North Macedonia in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers back in March. A disappointing UEFA Nations League campaign that saw them miss out on a semi-final spot as they dropped points against Switzerland and Spain adds to the scepticism around whether they can go far here.
Home advantage is a massive factor for Germany here and I think France are the surprising picks as favourites. Yes, that French team is unreal but have their results been that much better than Germany's over the past few years to make me think they can come to the Allianz Arena and get a win? Germany are unbeaten in their last 5 meetings and France haven't won on German turf since they were known as West Germany back on 12th August, 1987. I'm not sure I can see France winning this and I think both teams will settle for a draw.

    France vs Germany
Many bookies and punters see France as a major favorite to win EURO 2020. The current World champions want to confirm their dominance, but that is not an easy task. Group F is the most exciting one in the tournament, as there are Portugal and Hungary besides these two teams. Didier Deschamps’s side missed the chance to win only once in the last seven games, drawing against Ukraine in the premier round of the World Cup Quals. Les Bleus have been very confident in the previous four games, especially in the EURO 2020 warm-up. Kylian Mbappe and the lads hammered Wales and Bulgaria, both 3:0 ahead of the tournament. France managed to keep the clean sheet four times in a row, and they want to keep up where they left off.
After a disappointing campaign in World Cup 2018, Germany wants to get involved in the title battle. It will be the last big tournament for their head coach Joachim Low, after spending 15 years at the Elf bench. However, reports say that the locker room atmosphere is not the best. Some players expressed their disagreement with the head coach and his ideas just before the EURO 2020 kickoff. This comes in a very tricky moment for Germany, as they are handled a tough group. Nevertheless, their squad is full of star players, and they want to bring glory to their country. Germany trashed Latvia 7:1 in their latest prep game but failed to win two matches before that one. A 2:1 defeat against North Macedonia at home ground in the World Cup Quals was particularly shocking. The hosts need to do much better in the back if they want to challenge for the trophy.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
These games are always tough to predict, as they can go either way. We believe France is a slight favorite and could deliver a victory despite playing at the away ground. They have been more consistent lately, and France wants to show that they are ready for another successful campaign. We will take France Draw no Bet as the first pick.
    Goals Market Prediction
We already mentioned that Germany has been very poor in the back, and they failed to keep their net intact three times in a row. With both sides having world-class forwards, we can expect an exciting match that should go over a 2.5 margin.

    Hungary vs Portugal
The hosts are on a hot run as they haven’t lost eleven times in a row. On the previous four occasions, Magyarook missed a chance to win only once. They booked a goalless draw against the Republic of Ireland on their final prep game ahead of EURO 2020. Marco Rossi’s side has successfully kicked off their World Cup Quals campaign, picking seven points from the opening three rounds. Nevertheless, they didn’t have too challenging opponents, as Hungary booked two wins against San Marino and Andorra. Nemanja Nikolics and the lads failed to score only once in the past eight matches, while Hungary kept the clean sheet two times in a row. The home side has a very challenging task ahead, but they want to remain undefeated at their ground.
Portugal suffered only one defeat in the previous 15 games, and they have been unbeaten in the last six. The defending champions found themselves in a very tough group, having France and Germany as the major rivals. Fernando Santos’s side eyes an excellent start, as potential three points from this game can bring them closer to the knockout stage. Cristiano Ronaldo and the lads trashed Israel in their latest warm-up match while snatching a goalless draw against Spain. Like their upcoming rivals, Portugal managed to keep its net intact in the last two games. On the other hand, the visitors produced at least two goals per match four times in the previous six fixtures. Although they are not among the top favorites for defending the crown, Portugal can go very far in EURO 2020.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
Hungary is a very tricky opponent that can stun any team in this tournament. However, we believe Portugal will meet the expectations and deliver a significant victory.
    Goals Market Prediction
Although these two teams have been unbeatable in the back recently, we expect to see an efficient game. Both sides fancy attacking style, and that approach could result in at least three goals in total in this encounter.

    Scotland vs Czech Republic
The home side booked their ticket for the major competition after a quarter of the century. The last time they participated in the big stage was in EURO 1996, which they ended in the group stage. In fact, Scotland has never reached the knockout stage, and the hosts fancy their chances of taking a step forward this time. However, Steve Clarke’s side will have a challenging task, having England and Croatia as the major favorites for proceeding further. Ryan Christie and the lads are in solid form, haven’t lost in the last five games. Nevertheless, they have been involved in many draws, but the latest one against the Netherlands seems promising. Scotland scored five times in a row, and they will be hoping for continuing that streak. Playing at the home ground should be their significant advantage ahead of this clash, and with a potential victory, Scotland could challenge the knockout stage spot.
The Czech Republic heads to this tournament after being in an inconsistent form. The visitors celebrated just once on the previous four occasions, and that win came against Albania. Jaroslav Silhavi’s side suffered a tough 4:0 defeat against Italy in the warm-up for EURO 2020, and they need to improve against stronger teams. Tomas Soucek and the lads had troubles converting their chances into goals lately, as they netted only once in three games before the victory against Albania. The away side picked up four points from three rounds in their World Cup Quals group and could do a bit better. The Czech Republic hopes to continue the campaign after the group stage, and they will search for a point at least.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
These two sides met each other in the UEFA Nations League, and Scotland was better on both occasions. However, the Czech Republic had selection troubles due to the Covid-19 pandemic in these matches. Nevertheless, the hosts won’t have a better chance to book a victory, and we believe they will deliver it.
    Goals Market Prediction
We expect to see a tight match, as both sides will be cautious and focused on avoiding mistakes in the middle of the park. There shouldn’t be more than two goals in total.

    England vs Croatia
England heads to this tournament after celebrating in each of their last six matches. They opened the World Cup Quals campaign with three victories in their group, beating Poland at home as their major contender for the top spot. Gareth Southgate’s side continued in the same fashion in the warm-up for EURO 2020, celebrating against Austria and Romania. Harry Kane and the lads hope to challenge the title, and England is definitely considered one of the contenders. The Three Lions aim for a positive start and a more comfortable situation in the group stage. Croatia is their biggest rival for the top spot in the group, as there are also Scotland and the Czech Republic.
Croatia had a great World Cup campaign, and they hope to repeat it once again. However, Vatreni haven’t been in good form lately, as they failed to win in both prep matches. Zlatko Dalic’s side was disappointing with a 1:1 draw against Armenia, while they suffered a 1:0 defeat against Belgium. The Red Devils have been a much more dangerous rival in that game, and Croatia could lose with a more significant margin. Luka Modric and the lads opened their World Cup Quals with a 1:0 defeat in Slovenia but managed to bounce back with two straight wins. Croatia needs to be much more confident and disciplined if they want to remain undefeated in this clash.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
England seems to be in a better momentum, and they could keep up where they left off. Although Croatia is always a tricky opponent, we believe the Three Lions will deliver a victory. After losing in the World Cup 2018 semi-finals, England booked a win and drew against this opponent.
    Goals Market Prediction
Although their recent rivals weren’t top-class ones, England failed to keep the clean sheet only once on the previous six occasions. As Croatia hasn’t been too efficient lately, we expect to see a very tight game that shouldn’t go over a 2.5 margin.
