Well done to @Sugardaddykenwho found today's big winner, Cousin Pascal, at 66/1. To make it even more difficult for the rest of us he also selected the next biggest priced winner at 14/1 for a magnificent profit of 75 points.

Fantastic strike rate mate, keep it going. There is nothing better than plucking out a 25/1 winner but that's not easy to do. A lot of favs are turned over, I think the strike rate is something like 33% on favs so it's actually quite the skill to pick winning favs. 56.5% strike rate is brilliant and £20 flat stakes on your selections this month would have yielded a profit of £385 which a lot of people would kill for. 
Only joined this site at the weekend but really enjoying it. Apologies if I'm a bit eager with too many posts but it seems a fantastic place to discuss racing with a great group.

Well the last day of month once again proved it ain't over till it's over. 
Very well done to all the winners and a special thank you to MC successfully completing your first month relatively unscathed,  well done .
Couple of observations,  
Most winners comp ; would it be an idea to make it actual winners,  first past the post rather than racking up 'winners' on the place market .
To those who think our eyesight is bad standard txt is fine thank you . The recent Christmas comp got a little ridiculous. 
Happy new year to all , let's hope it's better than the last one .

@BARNSLEYCHOP finds a 16/1 winner on the final day to grab the title from @Saddlesore, who finishes 2nd again.
@Zidane123, who had been leading for most of the last week, claims 3rd prize with @adamross holding on for 4th place.

Good evening everyone!
As most of you will know, it's been a challenging few months for everyone connected with the site and forum after the tragic losses of both Paul "Sir Puntalot" Ross and Graham "BillyHills" Sarson. There is no denying that things will never be the same around here without them.
The process to find someone to help carry on the fine work that both Paul and Graham had done over the past 20 plus years was going to be a near impossible task but a task we were faced with taking on. I am pleased to announce that we have made the decision to appoint three new individuals to the Punters Lounge staff team to cover horse racing.
Steve Simmons aka @The Brigadier will take the lead role of Horse Racing Content Manager covering the horse racing content on the forum and site. He brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm of the horse racing industry that will no doubt shine through in his content. You can check out his racing tips right here!
Karl Hedley aka @Tumbleweed King has been appointed in the role of Accumulator and Festivals Tipster. You may well be familiar with his work with the Irish Post and Racing Post. He certainly knows his stuff and will be a superb addition to the horse racing team.
Michael Clarke aka @MCLARKE is going to be our new Results and Competitions Manager. He's already been posting around the site and his involvement in the forum will keep things running smoothly and efficiently.
If you haven't already interacted with them across the forum then feel free to say a hello below! It's been a desperately sad time here over the past few months so this is some much-needed positive news to welcome these three on board.
