Nice to see some flat turf racing back , I always keep an eye on Jim Bolger & Dermot Welds runners early & late season on testing going across the seas .

As usual the Irish kick off the turf Flat season in our islands at Curragh today. The UK joins in at the weekend with Doncaster (Brocklesby, Lincoln, Cammidge, Doncaster Mile)
today's features are the 1.35 - the first two year old race of the season which despite being so early has a decent record of throwing up some decent horses who will feature in group races as the season progresses
the 3.40 - Park Express Stakes (G3) . the first group race of the season. The obvious one here is the favourite Goldana from Joseph O'Brien' yard. Currently around 9/4. She's won on Heavy, she won first time out last year, she's won in Group 3 company and the yard is in great form on the AW and over Jumps in the last couple of weeks.
the 4.10 - The Irish Lincolnshire. Twenty runner handicap ....... my idea of hell ! You can stick your own pins in this one !

It would be great if more of us kept records of profit or loss.
It can be a bit of a pain but it doesn't take a long time to do and it might help in the long run. You could see if things start to get out of hand.
I know there are some of us that do keep records. The equaliser, Black Rabbit, Richard Westwood and yourself.

4.27 Hunt Hola Hermosa 1.1 at 8.78 poss 7 pts profit and Prickly Rose 1 pt win at 9.4 = 7 pts profit if win.  Both horses are for trainers with a good record in NHF races.  I am hoping that I don't get shafted by Barra Blue who is Fergal O'Brien's other runner and is favourite for the race
