4.20 Newmarket Tangerin Trees could be capable of landing a blow in this if running anywhere near like he did at Newbury last week when beating a decent field quite convingcingly! Concern that he got the run of the race that day tempers enthusiasm with other front runners in the field in Hamish Mcgonagal who is proven at a much higher level and remains in good heart with two good 4th's at group level and could easily back to winning ways at this lower level. Soft ground shouldnt cause too much trouble as has won on g/s! 1pt win Hamish Mcgonagall 3/1 hills 5.30 Newmarket Ground conditions could be key to this race but with nice weather expected tomorrow in may dry out enough to give Parvaaz a chance at what looks a very attractive price, he has progressed in handicaps in an eye catching fashion and certainly enough to suggest he could well be a little more than a handicapper in time. 6lb higher for latest win when winning in good style by nearly 2 lengths over CD, Detori on board again and has ridden him to victory before. 0.5pt e/w Parvaaz 13/2 hills 5.15 Ayr Chilly Filly has enjoyed a fantastic season with Johnston and could continue that today she bounced back from a couple of lesser efforts last time out when 3rd in Mallard competitive handicap travelling well for a long way before tiring in closing stages and considering she had only run 6 days earlier it was to be expected also drop back in trip could help. 1pt win Chilly Filly

Newmarket - Sep 30th I like the look of Old Boy Ted in the 1st, its a wide open race with some nice future prospects, Tom Queally take the ride for Mr Tompkins and at around double carpet 33/1 for me its worth a small e/w punt. Academy from the Stoute yard could be a very live danger with Ryan Moore in the saddle. Newmarket 2pm Race 1 on the card - OLD BOY TED e/w Very best of luck in your day.
