Breeding Questions

I have to say that I've never fully understood the breeding side of things:$. Take the below example from the horse Mutafajer running tonight at Kempton (picked at random:lol)........ Oasis Dream (7.2f) — Shahaamah (IRE) (Red Ransom (USA) (8.9f)) Can someone explain all the various elements of this, please? I've a fair idea but would rather have views/input from those more knowledgable on this element of the game. Thanks.

Re: Breeding Questions I think it means by Oasis Dream, the Sire, out of Shahaamah whose sire was Red Ransom The distances are their stamina as in best distances on average although that is probably wrong From this though you know if a horse is pace or has stamina influences like Starspangeledbanner is by Choisir who was a pace merchant hence why he is speedy
