I saw this one a few years ago , so I am not claiming that it is mine! Rather it is a variation on a theme. We are looking at teams whose prices are 1.4 to 2.5( 2/5 to 6/4 ) to win. The bet is based on the numbers 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9. Add the first and the last 1 + 9 = 10. Bet is £1 per point £10, £2 per point £8 etc. If the bet wins, add winning stake to the end of the line i.e. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10. Next bet is 1 + 10 = 11. If the bet loses, cross out 1 and 9 from original line, so that becomes 2-3-4-5-6-7-8. Next is 2 + 8 = 10 etc. It may look complicated, but once into it, it isn't! On that basis, the first bet is:- Tottenham to win 10/11 £10 win :hope
