PerryPFC
Not sure if this is the right place for this but its close enough! Following the main event, the senior open starts at Carnoustie on Thursday. Now i'm no golf expert but killing time in the early hours I have stumbled across and watched a bit of senior golf in the past on Sky. There is a name I can't forget... as I remember him winning a few tournaments a while back... Boonchu Ruangkit Following a bit of research, he won 3 European senior tour events in a row! 2 in his native Asia and 1 in South Africa (Europe is big these days!). I did find he went a bit quiet after that but in his last 2 events, both in July, he finished 3rd on -8 and 20th on Par, so he is re-discovering his early season form. As the leader on the European tour order of merit and someone that clearly knows how to win and an improvement in recent form i'm taking : 0.5pts EW (1/4,1-5)- B.Ruangkit - 1st Rnd Leader - Senior Open - 66/1 - Skybet 1pt EW (1/4,1-5) - B.Ruangkit - Outright - Senior Open - 80/1 - Various :hope

PerryPFC
Re: Golf: 2010 Open Championship I just think he's good value, he'll be up against the old boys from across the pond but he's proved he can win and is, on earnings the best senior European tour player so far this year, so worth a small punt :ok

PerryPFC
Re: British Seniors Open Golf 22 - 25th July I've not watched any, but I'm presuming conditions are bad? Ruangkit has made the cut.... on +7!!! Scores as bad as +25 have been posted! Leaves him 11 off the lead and 10 off a place... Barring a miracle... we can probably rule both out!
