3.40 Folkestone Good looking big field sprint handicap for this course! Victorian Bounty was a useful prospect as a 2yr old and 3yr old but never quite hit the same heights since but droping down the weights as a consequence and finds himself on a decent looking mark, 6lb lower than last win and run with plenty of promise in his first 2 starts this season, Queally looks an interesting booking. 0.25pt e/w victorian bounty

Re: Folkestone 25th June 3.40 The richest ever flat run at the course today so quite a competitve field lines up. I've become increasingly reluctant to back hold up horses in these bigger fields. I'm guna take 2 in this field, Victorian Bounty and Peter Island, both probable front runners. Victorian Bounty has put in 2 decent efforts since returning from a break and is well handicapped on past form. Trip and ground arent a problem plus Queally is a positive booking. I actually took 10/1 earlier this morning and is now as low as 9/2 with VC so has been quite a big move for this one so far. Peter Island is a massive price imo, 20/1 with a number of firms. Flopped lto in France but that was on softer ground and had blinkers on instead of usual visor. Returns here over preferred trip and ground, visor back on and with Martin Lane claiming 3lb is effectively only 1lb higher from winning 2 starts ago at Brighton. Never won off a mark this high, but at 20/1 even place money would be a nice return.
