Beverley 5.15: Exceedingly Good 1pt place lay Bolt from the blue win LTO in handicap company over 6f. Returns to 5f today and don't think that will prove ideal given both attempts at this trip have resulted in heavy defeats. Has a 4lb lift in the weights to contend with along with the drop in trip so happy to take on as no guarantees the horse will run the same race again and plenty of others for a big-price hunter like myself to be interested in so going for the place lay!

Re: Lay of the day - Tues 22 June 810 Newton Abbot : Navajo Nation Place Lay This one was very unlucky last time when stumbling at the last with the race won, many will probably think he his a winner without a penalty but this is a very different bunch he his racing against tonight. Been through the race and can give chances to half a dozen and reckon the selection will struggle to get involved this time. Like Minneapolis, Gunslinger and Googoobarabajagal on form and with runners from the Nicholls, Henderson and Vaughan yards all looking unexposed this looks a very tough race.
