Re: Lay Of The Day - Sunday 23rd 225 Fakenham: Ashmolian This one finally won the other day, held up out the back as normal and came through nicely to win on the run in, now this track is more suited to athletics than horse racing, sharp bends, the horses are always on the turn and i'm not quite sure how Ashmolian will act here, he wont be able to mount a sustained challenge in the straight thats for sure and will have to be ridden more handy, i imagine they have no choice but to run before the new weights come out and if he has improved then fair enough but dont expect a similar race to the one he won the other day.
