5.20 Yarmouth Kazbow has all the shapes off a fully exposed runner now and has burnt plenty of fingers on the way, beaten favourite 4 times, only win came in a VERY weak AW maiden, Timeform report him to not have a race run to suit last time out but I dont buy that he simply wasnt good enough, he tends to try and make all and he got to the front last time out and set the moderate gallop, the only thing you can say is he should come on for the run and the step up in trip is an interesting one but with 2 unexposed runners in the field; Lady Eclair and Ultimate Quest he looks worth taking on at 6/4! 1pt lay kazbow

Re: Lay of the day 11th May 3.00 Beverley - King of Swords (LAY) Went on a rampage starting in August last year when he won 3 times and placed twice from five runs. Not coincidentally, he had cheekpieces fitted for the first time in August 2009. Once you take out the effect that this gear had you find a steed that has won just twice in his 6 years of racing. This explosion of excellent form had a bad effect on his handicap mark, one which he is till suffering for today and he is 4lb higher than his last winning mark. Has the benefit of the Beverley sprint draw bias today and is in with a chance but with the artificially boosted form and very little else to show in the way of ability he is far better opposed today, currently @ 5.5.
