Re: Israel Ligat Toto May 8th 2010 Relegation Playoffs Round No. 4 Hpoel Haifa v Hapoel Petach-Tikva Haifa secure already (23pts) Petach-Tikva still embroiled in relegation battle (19pts) There's talk on a certain match five years ago when the visitors beat the hosts and send them packing, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. Eran Levy (S), a pimp-looking one man show (10gls/6assts) is suspended for Haifa Petach Tikva +0.25 1.95SJ :hope

Re: Israel Ligat Toto May 8th 2010 Relegation Playoffs Round No. 4 Raanana v Nazareth Raanana (14pts) are resigned, Nazareth (16pts) could do with a win, as it will host Ramat-Gan (18pts) on the ultimate round. Tomer Hemed (9gls/7assts) is back in Nazareth, but Anderson West (CD) is 50-50 in a beefed up back-line. This is the least (value) of the trio Nazareth DNB 2VC :hope

Re: Israel Ligat Toto May 8th 2010 Relegation Playoff Round No.4 Ramat-Gan v Acre For the regulars let me announce that some Ramat-Gan players got their:nanamoney (after a close shave. Origin unknown) on Wednesday Serge Aily (5gls) is a doubt, but on the other side Yaron Hochenboimgot to throw in the kitchen sink this afternoon. Shakhar Simantov (MF, 5gls) Oshri Gita (S, 5gls) and bumbling Geva Barkai (CD) are out for Acre. Acre'll (19pts) park the bus, van and every car they can lay their hand on, against a team which scored three last eight matches (and been paid accordingly). Pretty this ain't gona be. looks like a toss-up, but Acre +0.25 2SJ :hope

Re: Israel Ligat Toto May 8th 2010 Championship Round No.4 The Big Derby: Hapoel Tel-Aviv v Maccabi Tel-Aviv The most colourful and emotional of Derbies, with championship battle making it spicier. Hapoel leads by goal difference, while 2nd place Maccabi Haifa hosts Beitar Jerusalem (I wrote on the relationship between Hapoel and Beitar on the IPL thread before) Last monday Maccabi were playing backwards to grant Haifa 2-0 win, to earn scorn from far and wide (untrue to form, only few fans turned yesterday at the general rehearsal at Kiryat-Shalom) Hapoel (which won both H2H this season) were huffing and puffing all week about trouncing Maccabi, which left Avi Nimni with not much choice. Maccabi's manager surrendered the midfield in favour of 5-3-2 formation Hapoel, in short, got brilliance beside weaknesses, are facing a scrap today and I'm sure will be happy with just the win. Avi Nimni got the manager job nailed, but a drubbing today will spell the beginning of the end for this enigma. again, Maccabi +1.5 1.85SJ/bet365 and for the brave souls of you, Maccabi DNB 10VC Of course you can take Hapoel:lol :hope

Re: Israel Ligat Toto May 8th 2010 Relegation Playoffs Round No. 4 Raanana v Nazareth 2-0 The irony of things: Raanana are miraculously clawing back, but now they depend on Nazareth (which got relegated) Haifa v Petach Tikva 1-2 Petach Tikva practically secured Ramat-Gan v Acre 0-0 Both teams are not out of the woods yet.

Re: Israel Ligat Toto May 8th 2010 Championship Round No. 4 Hapoel Tel-Aviv v Maccabi Tel-Aviv 0-0 Maccabi probably deprived Hapoel from the title (Haifa won 2-1 to Beitar Jerusalem, and leads by two points now, one game to go)
