Re: Israel Ligat Toto May 1st-May3rd, 2010 Hapoel Petach-Tikva v Hapoel ramat-Gan (19:10BST) The bad vibes are toing and froing all round here. Players in Petach-Tikva have seen pay withheld after their home defeat to Acre (April 17th) only to get thrashed last Saturday at Nazareth (0-3) Pay is back now. Ramat-Gan's players wishes they were in their shoes. Yaron Kuris, Ramat-Gan's owner promised last week to resolve all financial issues (players haven't been paid for four months now) till Wednesday. Well maybe he was talking on another Wednesday altogether. I previewed both teams before, but here are some important facts. Both find goals hard to come by (Ramat-Gan [26, 15th] scored two last six games. Petach-tikva [[24, last]) Elnathan Salami (5gls) is back in Petach-tikva, Serge Aily (5gls) is injured but will probably play in Ramat-Gan. Petach-Tikva consists mostly of ordinary youngsters led by talismanic midfielder Guy Zarfati. Ramat-Gan is a motley crue of guys who have seen the better part of their career behind them (News broke in this week that Rafi Kohen, their GK got the assistant-manager job at Petach-Tikva next year, resulting in a fracas) Petach-Tikva kept a good home record through thick and thin (beside that loss to Acre, it hasn't lost in 2010 [twice overall]) Ramat-Gan, which almost made it to the mid-playoffs, is seeing things getting messy right now. Petach-Tikva -0.25 AH 2Stan James or draw 3various with a home win cover Petach-Tikva 2.5Stan James :hope

Re: Israel Ligat Toto May 1st-May3rd, 2010 Acre v Nazareth (17:10BST) Come 09/10 season's Acre's home ground was disqualified by the police (they host their games on Nazareth-Ilit, an outskirt of Nazareth Major) Small wonder they got one home win to show for. This stubborn side was picked apart at Ra'anana (0-4) last Saturday, and a big question mark was set over its survival. Nazareth currently plays decent football. This ragbag was sorted out and found to contain some gems. Anderson West (CB) has steadied a leaky back-line, and Yaniv Luzon (MF, 9gls) demonstrates leadership qualities. Happy-end is clouded, however, by their lousy goal difference (-37) which means at least five points, i.e. not to lose next three games, points and the suspension to FW Tomer Hemed (9gls, 7assts) Nazareth +0.25 AH 1.87bet365 If you conclude Acre is due a victory (a very possible scenario) skip it altogether. too short. :hope

Re: Israel Ligat Toto May 1st-May3rd, 2010 Hapoel Haifa v Ra'anana (17:10BST) This is merely a solid bet on value odds. This game might better suit live betting, however with some mitigating facts. Haifa might need one point to secure another Premier League season, but a win will seal it. Ra'anana, on the other hand, won't be satisfied with a draw (at best they've got to win both Nazareth (H) and Petach-Tikva (A) which unlike Haifa, are really feeling the sword) Both are after a big wins, with not much to show for neither home (Haifa) nor away (Ra'anana) with one exception. After recently W2 D1 Ra'anana are going to be treated with respect by the best team here. Haifa -0.5 1.82bet365 :hope

Re: Israel Ligat Toto May 1st-May3rd, 2010 Acre v Nazareth 3-1:loon Nazareth kicked the bucket. Hapoel Haifa v Ra'anana 1-0 Ra'anana are down. Haifa secure. Hapoel Petach-Tikva v Hapoel Ramat-Gan 2-1 Ramat-Gan looks hollow by the minute 11. Hapoel Haifa 23 12. Hapoel Acre 19 13. Petach-Tikva 19 14. H Ramat-Gan 18 15. Mac Nazareth 16 16. Hap Ra'anana 14 See you on Monday (Maccabi Tel-Aviv v Maccabi Haifa) :hope

Re: Israel Ligat Toto May 1st-May3rd, 2010 Maccabi Tel-Aviv v Maccabi Haifa (18:00BST) Haifa trails Hapoel Tel-Aviv by three points with a game in hand (this game) two to go. Haifa are also seven goals down. Maccabi Tel-Aviv will have to play Hapoel in Israel's Big Derby next Saturday. Elisha Levi will play two center-forwards probably to take adventage of the odd slip from Maccabi's rash defence. The midfield which dominated Hapoel have lost its left flank (Lior Refaelov, a gifted boy with bad attitude have been dropped to the bench) and it seems he almost plan for a scrappy game. George Tesheira (CD) is back in defence, while the talented Ali Otman(RB) replaces the injured Eyal Meshumar. Haifa's predictable style is betrayed by dearth of goals, but what would Maccabi do if they concede? Maccabi's left flank (LB Dor Malul and MF Tamir Cahalon) looks dangerous and it seems manager Avi Nimni abandoned the defensive tactics of the last two head-to-heads. It is, however, very hard to come from behind against Haifa,so the mainstream is no bet Of course Haifa, a mediocre team by any other name, might beat itself, so a very risky and at the same time valuable bet against the trend: Maccabi Tel-Aviv +0.5 2.2SJ (the line might go up. SJ is Israelis' favourite bookie) :hope:hope:hope
