The plan is to fly there friday, visit a casino saturday night and return home sunday. I would like to play a tournament and maybe some cash game. Buy-in to the tourney would be about £50 - £100. Any recommendations from you regular casino visitors? What to check out and what to avoid? The Golden Nugget on Shaftesbury Avenue and the Sportsman in Mayfair now offer medium buy-in tourneys at the weekend. Quite fun and touristy. If you want a more serious cardroom, then the Grosvenor Vic on Edgware Road or The International in Old Street. They're all pretty central but if you want to venture a little further, the Equal Chance in Walthamstow, Big SLick in Croydon and Full House in Reigate are all excellent. If so fly to Nottingham and play at DTD lots of good value tournies on every weekend. If you have to be in London then its not so convenient.
