2.30 Beverley Sworn Tigress is a German import who earnt herself a rating of just 46 in this country and yard fully exploited that landing a massive gamble on her on her debut for the yard and in this country she then went on to win twice more and although didnt win last time out when upped in the ratings and class she ran more than respectable and was perhaps a little unlucky throughout tracked wide and not getting ideal pace, now stepped back up in trip should be fully capable off a 5lb higher mark again and form from previous race is working out extremely well and looks the one to beat if proving as good back on turf. The other interest is the Indian import Southern Regent although showed little in this country yet but was more encouraging last time out on fibresand when plugging on for second and no reason to see him come on further with 2 runs after a lengthy lay off also another 1lb off in handicap looks very kind. 1pt win sworn tigress 9/4 bet365 0.25pt e/w southern regent 8/1 bet365 5.15 Beverley Sudden Impulse looks a good lay for me today. won last time out in selling company immediatly recieves a 7lb rise for that which looks harsh on the face of it and will find it harder back in handicap company also drying ground will not be easy and at around 7/1 tonight looks good lay wont get rich but looks value. Otherwise this is quite a weak affair and most are maidens, some coming back from long breaks with plenty of questions but Tomintoul Star has shaped encouringly on 3 starts for new stable with placed efforts on the aw 1lb either side of todays mark and if converting that form to turf no reason to think another good effort against this weak field. 0.25pt e/w Tomintoul Star

Re: Beverley 22nd April 2.30 Beverley TAARESH did not get the race run to suit at Kempton 15-days ago and the handicapper has generously dropped him 1 lbs. He was rated as high as 82 when first assessed in 2008 and although it has taken him until now to get competitive after his mark has been eased, he probably has room for more improvement off his current perch of 71. 8/1 Bet 365
