The question is how good is the form of Elusive Pimpernel and Dancing David behind St Nicholas Abbey? And has their form been over-rated because of the winner. If there has been a little over reaction - then Critical Moment may not be such an outsider. Critical Moment could not get a clear run in his last start in the Horris Hill at Newbury. He looks likely to improve for this step up to a mile with the stiff up hill finish and the better ground. Barry Hills has made a slowish start by his standards, however most years he has a very profitable April and had a couple of winners at this meeting last year.
