Grand National Favourites

Recommended Posts

Favourite Story: Eddie Dempsey riding Caughoo in 1947, alledgedly hiding behind a fence for a circuit and winning by 20 lengths, then getting beat-up by a fellow jockey. I so want to believe that's true, it's fookin' genius! Favourite Highlight: Watching 'Foinavon's National every year on TV, pure gold. Favourite Personal: Lord Gyllene 1997, tipoped it for about 6 months to everyone who would listen, although having to wait an extra 2 days due to idiots, watching it win almost from start to finish on the Monday was brilliant. Fancy This Year: Black Appalachi, previous National form usually a decent guide and this thing was going very well when tipping @ Becher's 2nd time round. With a clear (they all need that really!), I think will go close.# Be cool if everyone added their own .....
