LTO Grasp shaped with a degree of promise on this belated debut. He was slowly away, giving the pack at least a five-length start and was outpaced before staying on steadily through the final three furlongs as the penny dropped. He is bred to find this a minimum trip so should be placed to advantage over slightly further next year, although this form looks particularly modest. Banking on him progressing should be wiser now and stamina in pedigree suggests this trip will show him in a better light. extra 2f today should suit him. also the booking of Daryl Holland looks good. it looks a weak race i can't see much to beat. fingers crossed :hope ralphie
