Benchmarking Quiz

Ok - I'm looking forward to the first batch of hands and impatient for us all to learn loads :) So I thought I'd put some scenarios up here and invite feedback on what you think I'll find. I welcome feedback from anyone - whether they are participating in the benchmarking or not. I'll report on Saturday what the database shows for each of the situations (and see who was closest). Remember to offer your opinions based only on the tables in question - i.e. 6 max NL10 Rush. Also - we're looking at the overall situation - so the general play you might make - there could well be other considerations you'd make in specific circumstances (especially, for example, things like stack size, or size of raises) 1) You are on the button. Everyone folds to you. Can you show an immediate profit by raising any two cards? (i.e. you raise, presumably 3xBB, and win the hand without any further betting action and without a flop) 2) You are on the Big Blind. Everyone folds to the Button who makes a raise (presume 3xBB). The Small Blind folds. Can you make an immediate profit by reraising the Button Steal with any two cards? (presume the reraise is to 3.5x Pot i.e. raise to $1.20 at this level) Might add more scenarios later (or might just do more next week). If anyone wants to suggest other scenarios, feel free :ok (just be clear on what HEM filters you want applied :ok)

Re: Benchmarking Quiz Ok - seeing as I dont have the hands yet, I can offer my opinions: 1) I think it will be close. It may be profitable, but it may be marginally unprofitable. Once you add in the possibility of post flop profit, then I'm expecting it to be correct to raise here with any 2 cards. 2) I'm expecting this to be a clear yes - I think it will be immediately profitable to reraise a button steal with any 2 cards.
