Trotter
Re: Lay of the Day Selections - Wed 17th March 3.45 Southwell - Inside track - win lay Has won a couple of races here but seems to have gone off the boil with 2 heavy defeats in a row in Claimers Drops back to Selling company today which is more his grade but was well thrashed by Tiger Hawk last time they met and it's difficult to see how he can reverse placings
BillyHills
Re: Lay of the Day Selections - Wed 17th March 240 Ch: Long Run This one makes the odd blunder and wont get away with it here, even if he does jump round Punchestowns and Diamond Harry will be hard to beat. cc75
Re: Lay of the Day Selections - Wed 17th March 3.45 Southwell: Step to it 1pt place lay This one has plenty to do at the weights in this seller and with 3 horses against it today who should go better IMO is worth laying for the place. Barni64
Re: Lay of the Day Selections - Wed 17th March 3.20 Cheltenham PLACE LAY: Twist Magic He can look a world beater at times but seems to save his worst form for Cheltenham and has run poorly in this race for the past two years. Well behind when a faller two fences from home last year and beaten more than 50 lengths when sixth of seven finishers in 2008. Also fell in the Arkle in 2007 in his only other start here. wizzkid walter
Re: Lay of the Day Selections - Wed 17th March 2:05 Cheltenham - Reve De Sivola - Place Lay Think he'll struggle to place here with Rite Of Passage, Finian's Rainbow, Peddler's Cross and Quel Esprit all holding rock solid form claims. A few of the big pricers also have decent e/w claims, so quite happy to place lay Reve De Sivola at circa 2/1 1pt place lay
fintron
Re: Lay of the Day Selections - Wed 17th March 8.50 Kempton New Leyf - 1 pt lay - not convinced will get race run to suit, Bertoliver and Bahamian Lad (if fully tuned up on comeback) will take the beating. Falbrav
Re: Lay of the Day Selections - Wed 17th March ERATXILOR 5.05 Southwell. The one to beat on all known, limited, bare form, but this track has a habit of finding horses out and so with several others being open to improvement and the lay being long odds on, I think he's much more of a lay then a play, irrespective of the end result. The race could be run to annoy the favourite too, so he may be forced to make the running, but whatever the case here, there's enough to take him on with at the current odds.
