2.10 Carlisle: What's up Woody 1pt place lay This one looks an absolute stick on for a win lay at current 4.1 (Betfair) and as I have 3 strong selections against it I am happy to lay for a place at 1.41 (Betfair). Ran well on hurdles debut to finish 2nd and then went on to win what looks a weak race next time out and break maiden tag over hurdles. The form of that race has been battered and LTO run in handicap company shows that perhaps this horse is not worthy of it's current rating. Back in Novice company today and with a 7lb penalty for that victory has plenty to do against the likes of Edge of Town (good claimer on offsetting some penalty), Bel Hugo and my fancy Oil Burner. A bit risky to lay the 2nd fave for a place but I am happy to take the chance that another flop could be on the cards.
