blackcrow
Crusaders win by 1-12 margin @ 2.80 sportingbet With McCaw back for the Crusaders they should bounce back from their upset loss to the Reds last week, but even so, they seem to have lost some of that fear factor that teams had when they played them. They are without a number of players who have served them well over the years and the new players are taking time to adjust to this team. A new coach with different methods also has impacted on this team. Still they should be able to do enough on this Sharks side that has lost its first two games which were both at home, by a point to the Chiefs and 5 points to the Cheetahs. They know that they need to lift here to have any chance and with most people expecting an easy victory they will go into this game with a feeling they have nothing to lose. The Crusders have won 3 of the last 4 matches between the two sides, with their biggest winning margin being 8 points, so liking the look of another close game as both sides are not in the best of form. AJ
Re: Super 14: Round 3 Sorry, think the Crusaders are better than that. Crusader by over 12.5pts. christchurch is a hard place to go adn McCaw should get some game time Crusaders by 12.5pts+ @ 1.86 on Betfair here's hoping for some :cash
AJ
Re: Super 14: Round 3 35 - 6 to the Crusaders :cash Quite fancy the Brumbies in the next game, think they are the strongest of the aussie teams, have taken them at 2.6 The Yarpie teams seem quite weak this year, the chiefs have won two on the road over there and they ain't great. blackcrow
Re: Super 14: Round 3 That intercept try changed the outcome of the game with the Crusaders leading 16-6 with 10 minutes to go and then the flood gates opened. Thought the Sharks may have held on if they had not thrown the intercept

The try did make a difference, but at that stage they only needed a three pointer to beat the spread, was also pretty confident that Carter would kick it if required. Brumbies hang on 19 -17 for an away win @ 2.6. Delighted with this one. :cash
blackcrow
Re: Super 14: Round 3 Hurricanes -27.5 @ 2.13 centrebet Lions may have scored 65 points last week but they allowed 72 points and doubt that the Hurricanes will allow that many but they have the ability to score. The Lions have a poor record against them and doubt that they can hold he 'canes backline which should slice them open here. Definately see the Hurricanes scoring 4 tries here to get the bonus point, but will score plenty more if the Lions do not play some fort of defence, which i doubt they can fix in a week
blackcrow
Re: Super 14: Round 3 Reds -6.5 @ 2.54 centrebet Reds are on a high after their big win over the Crusaders at home last week and like them to win again over the Blues who have not been at their best and now without Toeava out, they lose one of their key players. Reds will be keen to win back to back and prove last week was no fluke, so expect them to continue their good form with at least a converted try win, especially if they play their free-flowing and up-tempo game McKenzie has got them playing from their first two games Chiefs win by 13+ margin @ 2.51 centrebet Chiefs have had two good wins over in South Africa as they now face the Force who have been hit by injuries. The Chiefs won 72-65 last week so they know how to score and should do on this under-strength Force side, but they will need to tighten up their defence. Doubt that the Force can manage an effective resistance to the Chiefs who are playing with confidence and with Donald pulling in the strings in midfield, expect him to give his backs plenty of opportunity to score here
AJ
Re: Super 14: Round 3 Agree with much of this. Have taken hurricanes - 23.5pts, outrights on the reds and chiefs.
blackcrow
Re: Super 14: Round 3 Hurricanes -27.5 :( Reds -6.5 :( Still cannot win back to back games Chiefs win by 13+ margin :DCursing when they threw that intercept try to lead only by 11 points but then that very late try to get the bonus point saw them win by 18 points
