Re: Southwell Jan 8th 1.45 Southwell I tipped Dontuwishitwereso up last time out when finally capitalizing on a career low mark after running promisingly recently over CD appeared to win with some in hand and up 7lb for that effort and after yesterday it appeared you either needed to be well handicapped or carrying a low weight on this slow surface and he could well be in on both camps getting into this at a low weight but also has been rated some 17lb higher at the start of his career but never lived upto that, main concern is that the blinkers were worn for the first time last time so need to have similar affect today. 1pt win dontuwishitwereso 7/4 pp 2.45 Southwell Another favourite that I think could be hard to beat, hint of honey caused a massive upset at 40/1 over cd last week and looks completely unexposed now if found her level, up 6lb for that easy win but useful claiming jockey has been found to offset that and give 1lb in hand. Form from that race she won looks solid enough with the 2nd going on to run a decent enough race yesterday and trip the switch and camerooney going on to win. 1pt win hint of honey 15/8 bet365 3.45 Southwell Favourites are clearly gonna be bank or bust here today but this is a super weak race even for a class 7 handicap but this new yard seemed to have found the key to Dontpaytheferryman who has improved rapidly over hurdles in testing conditions so his stamina should come into play on this testing surface, and if converting his improvement to the flat he could capatilise on a low flat mark, also useful apprentice is booked to claim a further 5lb. Re: Southwell Jan 8th ARTESIUM 1.45 Southwell. 0.5 points each way. Drops another 2lb to a mark of 48, and although not been running at his best, he now has the visor applied and so we could see him show more like his best. If that's the case, then he has every chance of winning this race of a mark of 48. The trip and surface suit and no reason to think the race won't be run to suit.

Re: Southwell Jan 8th 1.15: Boy the Bell 10pts win @ 2.96 Betfair Pretty tight looking maiden here and think it is worth going with Boy the Bell whose LTO 2nd has been franked by the 3rd home horse that day. Could take some beating.
