When will this card end? Seems to go on all day :lol. Tempted by another but as the prices are out for this race, will post it up now. 16:35 Dark Ranger finished a decent fourth LTO over a mile at Kempton. That day had a poor draw but was finishing fairly well and this extended mile will suit it more. Finished only 1.25l behind four-timer Wunder Strike so that has to count for something! Mark unchanged also. Raced over 10f the race before Kempton and didn't quite stay the full distance and 9f seems to suit. Ran well on the turf at Chester this summer and might well be coming into some form. I think the yard had a fairly hefty bet on it last time so they obviously think something of it so will give it a chance at a price worth backing EW. Might only place but won't lose a lot and I think it has a good chance of winning in a poor race. 1pt EW @ 4/1 Bet365 BOG

Re: Wolverhampton 04/01 4.35 Wolverhampton Shake on it won well enough last time out but that was in an extremely weak class 7 handicap over CD up 4lb for that effort and although won off higher marks than this in the past his strike rate is far from impressive and unless a severe drift happens I wont be touching. Therefore im gonna side with a potential improver in Mackintosh who has shown some good form recently since fitted with blinkers finishing 4th over this course and slightly longer trip and runs off same mark today and has an extremely useful 7lb claimer on board only 9 runs to date could still have something to show us. Inside story ran better than perhaps his form line suggests last time out when only 2 ¼ lengths behind the winner and although not the most fantastic strike rate did manage to win a goodwood handicap off a 5lb higher mark and has won twice over CD so clearly goes on the surface and used to go well round here so if back to his best he would be dangerous to ignore at a big price 0.25pt e/w mackintosh 5/1 bet365 + 0.25pt win 8/1 betfair 0.25pt e/w inside story 10/1 bet365
