Only one match of interest tonight (bettingwise) if you ask me. NYI (ML) to bt BUF @ 2.40 *Pinnacle* 1.5 PTS As inconsistent as they may be, the Islanders are still 4 points ahead of...BUFFALO in the playoff race. This alone makes this game a very important affair as it can decide a lot (it's early on, but...). NYI are arriving into the game with a 0-1-1 record (incl. a big, expected, loss to the Rangers last night. They are also in their 3/4 B2B trap, but to be honest, this trap is not working this season. The Sabres are in a poorish vein of form themselves and are coming inot the game off two straight losses. The team they actually would not like to meat is called... the Islanders. The reason rests in the H2H history. Last Sabres' win dates back to Oct. 10, 2002 and they have lost 6 straight since, including three losses this season (and 3-14 outscoring).
